just keep playing with the drivers you have now...your score is normal for the most part.
the only thing separating you from other normal users is what's set in the nvidia control panel settings and that's it. the cpu score would be 6 cores vs 4 cores. and anyone doing anything outstanding...would be them over clocking. using the xtu software.

Just noticed something: when a reseller doesn't tell you the laptop is from Sager/Clevo, the price is ridiculous.

 

Apparently rebranding isn't cheap.

yup, just got my memory in today. got everything stable now. still got tearing in most if not all of my games. definently a driver issue.

i got morrowind up and running with the graphics extender 8x aa 1920x1080 with high resolution texture mods.. looks better than oblivion.. minus that blurry hdr crap.

 

Where is the graphic extender? IIRC it's a mod right?

 

yup it's a mod. a hardcore one. i have about 100 plugins in my morrowind game. plus the 2 expansions. i have total texture remap and upgraded bumpmaps.

 

so what fps do you get after patching crysis on high and very high settings(in max resolution of course)?

 

Give a try to the latest drivers. Use the manual method pointing the installer to the drivers folder. BabyHemi did it, IIRC.

Yeah it's a deep pocket, except the price tag is also pretty deep

 

But it's well worth. It came with a full year warranty too! Their customer service are one of the best you could find online.

 

I mean, the Jansport backpack I had was being used everyday for five years without breaking..

 

Hmmm never thought about putting the power supply in one of the face pockets. I will give it a try after work today.

what the hell,im playn crysis and when i launched the game, it shows sli and some green bar on my left side of the screen .how do i remove that?

 

At Desktop -> Right click -> Nvidia Control panel

Nvidia Control Panel left pane -> "Set SLI and PhysX configuration" -> Top bar (with File, Edit, etc) -> "3D Settings" -> UN-check "Show SLI Visual Indicator" -> UN-check "Show PhysX Visual Indicator" (if checked).

Done.

yes you're able to the second compartment is able to fit PS3 Phat and 2 controllers.

also this laptop is extremely powerful. i played crysis on mix with very high and high(very high on textures,post processing and voluimetric) with max resolution and i get like 50-60 fps . when there is too much going on,the lowest is 30 fps which is normal for most shooters right now(heck that is the fps on halo games or crysis 2).

this is a laptop to buy.if you got cash,buy this asap.its great.

anyone having an issue where the screen is gradually turning green? after it wakes from suspend or the screen has been off it usually goes a bit green for a while...like 1/5th of pixels turn green, still displays the image...but yeahhh weird?
