Actually this bios is dated March 17th, but just posted yesterday. If your system shipped from that date onward you already have this bios. It is mainly for the AMD 6970M video card and not needed for anything else really.... :)

But there is a great difference between the official Clevo Bios and the Sager one´s! With the Sager Bios Intel XTU works!

yep there is a dif but i was talking to kizwan about the 08 from Clevo and that one was the same as the earlier one from Clevo but with one dif the support for 6970 and if this is the same that means that this have the same features and all the rest as the earlier Sager but with 6970 support
so that for people with out 6970 it wont make a dif
Thank Babyhemi for the heads up

    This bios is good!!

If you want to OC via BaseClock, (non extreme cpu owners) this new bios is great!

The previous bios would let you restart after OC via baseclock no probs, but restart again and BSOD galore... what was happening is that upon a 2nd restart the baseclock frequency would change, it would increase, every restart would keep increasing baseclock value, and soon BSOD's start as this kind of OC increases memory frequency, this bios keeps baseclcok steady after each restart, finally!!

Yup I just verified that if you want to OC via BaseClock it works! :)
Finally!! I have an extreme, but I would rather disable turbo boost. My hackintosh is soo much faster now because of this. 160x25 4.0 ghz stable. Now when I reboot it sticks! Thank you for listening Sager. :)
For all of you with non extreme cpu's go get it!

Hi what standard mem mhz do you have
and if we are lucky when kizwan is finished unlocking it we can actualy shange the multripel to higher settings then 25 in the bios
But in any case it seems like more changes have bin done then just the 6970 support :)

I'm just using standard 1333 mem. I always wondered why we couldn't go beyond 25 multi on an unlocked cpu.

Hi on the unlockt prev edition bios you can sett i to higher but after restart you get this reboot loop so clear cmos is needed and also i can sett the the value to 160 but after a houre xtu locks up then bsod then also a reboot loop i always thaught that when i changed the Bclk that my ram was over heating thats why the reboots and also i did it with out the keybord atached and the metal cover plate was hotter then a frying pan
soo maybe if we are realy lucky they fixed that prob as well the divider i meen

Oh yeah I did forget to mention that I had to give the uncore a bump to 2.45v I believe. I am in OSX right now so I can't check. lol
VCORE is 3.25. I didn't disable turbo bosst. I just ran the built in tests in the XTU to check for load stability. I know no matter what I did I couldn't even set BaseClock over 140 without having to take the damn machine apart and pull the battery.

I just wonder if the XTU changes something that might be hidden.
Does it work if you just use the XTU? Did you up your voltages in XTU?
You might need to give your mem more volts if you haven't. And/Or up the uncore volts.

Anyone have an issue with the KB when the touchpad is enabled? It seems that for some reason even if i don't touch it, it moves me up a line when I'm typing something. It drives me crazy. If I manually disable the touchpad Ihave no issues. I know I can't be the only one havin this problem.

Yes, your flashing of the cards will definately give different NVCaps, and NVPM. Send me your nVidia.Rom dumps from both your cards. I will edit your EFI string and send it again.

I had already done the NVCAP extraction. I think I had made the changes in the .plist.

Here is the nvcap info. 0400000000000700000000000000000700000000

How can ya get the NVPM from rom. I'd like to try it myself. :)

I put them to the specs you where using mem up to 1.6 uncore up to 1.24 and core to 1.35 and i did it in xtu but when i hit apply when set to 160 locks up the hole sys and reboots two times first time it just goes past the bios then it reboots again and goes the full startup and the Bclk is back on 133 but the V settings stay the same

    Here are my settings
If you have CPU-Z what are your memory SPD timings when you OC?
I think I modified my SPD a while back with Thaiphoon.
Your timings might be too tight.
With the modded bios you can change your timings.
XTU allways shows 9,9,9,24 but that is not usually the default timings
You can try XTU and set it at 9,9,9,27 or change in bios.

Something is wrong... I am unsure if its in your nvpm... You overclocked your 2x485m's... I'm trying to think exactly what that will change. If your saying your nvcap is the same, I wonder if it has to do with AGPM... Can you PM me a directory listing of your E/E and S/L/E?

What package did you use for GF104 installation? TonyMac? Original? Quadro? But you did say you have WoW running?

Nah I didn't do an overclock mod. They are 480's btw. I just applied the voltage mod so that I could overclock them.
OpenGL and QE/CI are workin with just applying the EFI string to the one card. Yeah I'm playin World Of Warcraft now. :)
I've tried all of em. Even the ones straight from Nvidia for Quadro. All same results. Only thing not working with the single card is OpenCl

OK I may be off here, but it looks as though there are no display inputs attached to the other card. Maybe when running two cards the other card is for PhysX or SLI only. So I'm thinking that might be the issue. I'm not really sure how the circuitry is set up on these bords. On desktop SLI rigs each card has at leas a single if not dual DVI connectors on them. Wonder what would happen if I ommited NVCAP info alltogether on the one device?

I have maybe a stupid question but i have bin thinking of getting 1600mhz rams for my bby and and i always thinking that triple channel mems are dif to dual channel but a friend was saying that the only dif is the mobo and that it has 3 slots and the mems are the same and if i put in 3 hyperx they would run triple channel .
and he was also saying that its the packs that are dif thay are called triple channel becouse you get 3 in a pack insted of 2 in a dual channel pack im just asking so i get some clarity in the mater im not stupid i read a lot of posts on other sites but all was only talking about the mobos and after reading i start thinking he is right and to be honest i havent bin giving this much thought before now

That would be insane huh! That' a good find, my thought was "available" port not used port, or why would they give you option for hdmi/dvi, dvi/dvi, dvi/vga, etc. Let me know if removing the nvcap or allowing an empty nvcap works for you.

Still curious about you e/e and s/l/e.
