In regards to the OC on the display you may want to check out CRU-1.2 for the AMD cards. Overclock.net has a thread dedicated just to that.
In regards to the monitor choice. I have to give a recommendation for the BenQ and the Asus. I use both of them and they are phenomenal. Good luck.

Guys, I am hoping one of you can really help me out, I also keen to overclock the CPU by using the Intel Extreme Tune Utility. The reason for this is because when I am playing Wii Emulation games it lags a little at maximum settings.
According to the Dolphin emulation manual:
Performance categorized by box names:
Please note that the very fast category has been eliminated for laptops which changes the numbers for the categories.
Category 1: Extremely Fast
When overclocked these cpus can run nearly any game at fullspeed even with LLE audio. Without overclocking most games will still run well with LLE audio.
-Intel Core i7 Extreme Mobile
-Intel Core i7 Mobile
-Intel Core i5 Mobile
Category 2: Fast
These cpus are fast enough to run most games at fullspeed with HLE audio, especially when overclocked.
-Intel Core i3 Mobile
Category 3: Moderate/fast
Inbetween moderate and fast. Faster than category 4 but slower than category 2.
-Intel Core 2 Extreme Mobile
-Intel Pentium
-AMD Phenom II
Category 4: Moderate
These cpus run most games at fullspeed with HLE audio if they are heavily overclocked. But at stock speeds they may have have trouble.
-Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile
-Intel Core 2 Quad Mobile
-AMD A10 series
-AMD A8 series
-AMD A6 series
-AMD A4 series
-AMD Turion II
Category 5: Slow
Even with heavy overclocking these cpus are simply too slow for most games.

Can anyone share the ideal settings for IETU to overclock my CPU to 4.0GHz on all 4 cores and that it has the right voltage settings.
-
Wow you know you could have just used 1 post for for that?
Also, why on earth are you playing Wii games on your laptop?? That's just ridiculous lol, go buy a Wii console and save yourself a lot of hassle!
Sent from my baked potato -
Do all games lag? It says most games run fine without overclocking. Keep in mind they say this for Intel Core i7 & i5 Mobile. And you are several generations away from first gen Core i5, in fact you have the i7. Not only that, you have the top end i7 Core mobile of the very latest gen. And even stock this processor will over clock higher than a i7-4700mq. So maybe your bottle neck is not the cpu.

All games are very much playable at maximum settings, but there is the odd slow-downs and what not.
Can anyone share the ideal settings on IETU application. I know how to increase the multipliers, but not sure what voltage settings to set it at. -
I found out that I will be able to run a 120hz monitor from the DisplayPort on the back of the P370SM, so I will be taking a look at which I can get next year. So far I've seen that IIyama has a nice 120hz IPS panel. Also ASUS and BenQ have some nice ones too, those are TN though. -
Also, 120Hz forever! -
-
It is quite a bit more though, but then again I don't really need it since I'm planning to get a 120hz Monitor next year. xD
For now it seems that is my only choice in the UK though. -
Sup guys

Nothing against Alienware.
I think great equipment but I do not got lucky with mine.
Thus changing the system.1nstance likes this. -
The thing with the bios is just to see if it will fix some BSOD that heapens with me sometimes, already tested memory, HD, processor.. stress test for 24hrs... everything is ok but sometimes i get the irql_not_less_or_equal, i found on the net the "fix" for it, and i did it!!! But some time later another random BSOD, my windows 8.1 isn`t a jack sparrow version (if you know what i mean)
So... i'm still looking for answers!!
By the way anyone knows if PREMA started his "magic" on the P37X SM bios?? -
I would do a memory test on your computer, and see if the issue happens with only one mem stick at a time. Also, I would try the computer without any added hardware. And lastly I would do a hdd sdd test for integrity. -
If not, then ajnindlo is correct. Pull out your ram one stick at a time and stress test, if it comes back, pull that stick out and replace it with your other one, then stress test again. If they both fail then your looking at something else as the problem. If only one fails then problem solved. Just replace the ram with a new one and your good to go.
Sometimes, with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error, even that is not enough. This is where you get in deep with troubleshooting the bios. In the BIOS, load Fail-Safe defaults, disable the onboard modem, sound, and LAN (where applicable). Take out all the cards, with the exception of video, and stress test. If your system stays stable, then just start adding and enabling the devices one by one. Keep doing that, one by one, until it starts crashing again. Whatever you put in, or re-enabled last, is the misbehaving piece of hardware.
Also, the Intel motherboards Northbridge is actively cooled, so check that your fan hasn't stopped spinning or is getting stuck. Keep in mind that this chip controls the data stream between the RAM, video, and CPU, so it is very important. If it's overheating bad things are going to happen.
If non of these things work out for you, that is why there are warranties.just say screw it and send it back to sager (or whoever you got it from) and tell them to fix it.
Like I said though, almost every time I have had those IRQ BSOD's it is because of CPU, Ram or some type of legacy card.
OH...and PREMA is still working on a bios for the 370sm/375SM bios. but you can check his website and sign up for updates. (but that is probably not going to help you with your Interrupt Request problems) .Good luck . Hope this helps you out. Let us know how everything works out. -
Wow, more paragraphs
One another note, my XMG P723 is on its way to me now. Friday is looking good for a nice evening unboxing when I get back from work!
My girlfriend shall be waiting for it at home.

Guys, whats your experience with DHL?? Are they reliable? -
Yes, DHL is reliable. Most stuff that I order from China comes from them. Never a problem.

Hey, look at that...no paragraphs.

Just one little one there.
My package has been processed at Gatwick now mate, tomorrow is looking good!

Thank's for the help and points to try i out.
I think that all of these i tried, the wifi fix, run memory tests (i used memtest86 i think this is the best cause run's in dos mode and test`s everything), hard drive tests, stress tests, i let computer with prime running for 24hrs.
I`ve tested all of this stuff and no problems at all. It's weird thats for sure.
Anyways thanks for the help.. -
I know how frustrating error messages can be. Maybe someone else in here will offer up some better help. Good luck.

My laptop is out for delivery now!
I saw a post somewhere describing what order to install the bundled drivers in but I cant find it now. Any chance someone with an XMG could weigh in here?
Sent from my baked potato -
Ill try to help a bit. Last time I had a BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error on my Old Laptop it was a bad device driver I installed. My advice is to look for *.dmp file that windows produce when the BSOD occurs. There are tools out there to check the content of the file. I am not sure if you can view them with notepad since it's been a while i had that problem. Normally the dmp file will point to the exact device driver causing the crash. Once you know which one casue the problem you just uninstall it and problem solved.
I did a quick search and here is an interesting link on the subject: How Do I Fix IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error in Windows 8? - Blue Screen - Tutorials
If you need help with the dmp file ask us. Happy bug hunting / fixing -
My girlfriend messaged me earlier saying that my XMG P723 has arrived!! Cannot wait to finish work now and go play

Congratulations!
Let us know how everything goes with the install. I posted the driver sequence for another person on here earlier this month. Search this thread for "hid airplane mode driver" and it should come up.
Have Fun! -

I think pressing Fn+1 once or twice might help. Beyond that you can undervolt underclock to reduce temps, use the svl7 vbios, or wait for Prema to do a bios/ec for this model. And to speed Prema along, a donation might help. Search for prema bios on google...
And I think this is the post David was refering to with the driver install order. http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...0sm3-p375sm-owners-lounge-96.html#post9459426 -

So Guys let me start by saying that I got my Sager 9380-S or Clevo p370sm-s ... after a long stressful procedure.
I would like to do a short review of my experience with the whole thing.
I ordered the P370SM-S with the following specs
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Single GTX780m card
-16GB DDR3 SDRAM
-17.3" Full HD 3D 120MHz 72% NTSC Matte with Emitter and 1 pair NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ Glasses
-30 day Guaranteed no dead or partially-lit pixels - FREE UPGRADE
-4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ Processor
-6X Blu-ray Reader/8X DVD±R/2.4X
-750GB 7200rpm SATA 300
-IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU + GPU
-Intel® Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 802.11ac 2x2 Plus Bluetooth 4.0
-Rush shipping
-No labels
the price was $2,039.91
Ordered it from LPC digital. And talked to Mr. Larry ,(I guess he is the only one working there as he also did the review on youtube)
I am in Germany and was going to the USA for 10 days so I wanted them to deliver it to my hostel (in Miami Beach,Florida) within these 10 days, and also wanted to pay for the Laptop with my International (german) credit card because I didnt honestly trust that I would just do a bank transfer and expect them to just send me the laptop.
After trying to talk to every reseller possible about the possibility to pay by card , they all denied my request , I even called a kind of director in Sager and talked to him too , and he told me that I have to TRUST THE COMPANY THAT I WILL BUY FROM!
Anyhow as I found that I had no choice but to wire them the money, I did COMPLY !
I sent LPC digital the money via a Wired Bank Transfere, because they "promised" me to start with the production process once I prove that I wired them the money, which I did, as I sent them an email containing a pic of the transfer as a proof, hoping they would start early.
Within three or four days (from the time they saw my proof) the manufacturing process was done and they shipped me the Laptop to a UPS Store in Miami Beach Florida (because my Hostel wouldnt accept online deliveries to them) , then I went to pick it up from the UPS Store (paying 10 dollars for the package) after three more days.
So the total is like 8-9 days.
To say the truth am content with the speed that LPC digital followed the matter , am not sure whether that was because I really insisted on them with my situation, or they usually do the orders fast, non-the-less am content.
So Thank You Mr.LARRY and LPC digital.
As for XoticPC , they told me that they will only start with the processing of my order (which I suppose would take time) and then start with the manufacturing process after they received the money! So that made me choose LPC Digital instead. As I had no time to waste. On top of that LPC digital did the 3% discount and had the free shipping too. while XoticPC would cost me a bit more (just a bit)
Now to the LapTop.
================
well the machine is a beast even with the single GTX780x .
The Display:
------------------
the 120hz matte Display is a beauty, its very bright , good viewing angels .. and I think its worth overlooking the glossy screen for this one.
the colors are very good , and its sharp enough. (well all of this is pure subjective but am putting this so that people can relate)
The Heat:
--------------
I bought this laptop to play three games ONLY!
BF4
COD ghosts
Fifa 14
I ran all of them on the highest settings and no lag what so ever.
while in-game the Fans run on aprox./around 70-80% of their speed (thats from the sound of them)
I play 6 hours continuously and after never felt the bottom (next to the graphics card or processor) hot, I would say max was 38 degrees Celsius.
As for the surface , It is never hot or even warm , never.
The Fan Noise:
----------------------
I found the fans working very normal for normal daily tasks, but still audible ( you would hear them) , I had older non-gaming laptops that had no fan noise at all for the normal tasks, so I think a fans control software could be used! (I have to look into the matter)
other than that while in-game the fans dont exaggerate and the noise is acceptable for a gaming machine, I dont want to even think how a dual GTX780m would sound.
But then "mostly" gamers would buy this machine and we "all" wear headsets. so no worries.
The Touchpad
-------------------
I dont like it at all, but i still find it better than the p375sm pad, its more elegant YES, but it feels really cheap, its clicky and feels like its gonna give in when pressed harder! (I rarely use it anyhow) , the right and left clicks are really horrible.
I think for a machine worth 2k and up , they should put a better touchpad than this one.
I bought and manually installed a mSata SSD 120gb Bulletproof 4 , and installed my Win7 ultimate on it. and its a charm.
Installed Win8 on the default 750gb that came with the laptop.
the Drivers
---------------
The drivers that came with the machine works well, am yet to find a problem with them, As I have mentioned I didnt order a windows with it so I manually installed all of them on both Windows 7 and Windows 8 pro , both worked very well.
ONE PROBLEM!the microphone is horrible, I was trying to chat using Skype and ppl kept on telling me that my voice was low , tried everything possible , but to no avail. small detail but just wanted to mention it.
So YES , this is all I have to say about this Machine and its really great so far.
If you have any question or advise , feel free to PM me or just reply.
HOPE THAT WAS HELPFUL
ps: ouft that was a lengthy write. -
So, my girlfriend is pissed off today coz I refused to go shopping with her to another town. She left me a note on my P723 saying "Hope it was worth it" lol ouch
Anyways here are some first pics for you guys, sorry about the quality.

After reading through all the reviews here and other sites, I decided to go ahead buy the P370SM3(3d screen 120hz). Placed the order with Mythologic just seconds ago. I've read through all 105 pages of this thread(lol) and other sites information on the P370SM3 so I feel somewhat knowledgeable about it. I'll do a review with pictures of bios(supposedly custom for Mythologic) and hardware when I get it and why I chose the parts that I did. I feel the single person reviews here helped me a lot when I was choosing the laptop and I'll try to do a detailed as possible review when I get mine.
System was $2253.57 with a $44.72 shipping charge for a total of: $2298.29
Order Summary
-
Ive also been reading this thread from the beginning and want to thank you all. Ive learned more here than in any of my own extensive research of sli/cf notebooks. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on my first notebook, but rest assured untill I do, I will continue reading this thread. I am really leaning towards Mythlogic for my build also. Cant wait for a review.

I just ordered a different system from LPC-Digital. I was able to get a lower price by a bit. You might compare them.

I ordered the P370SM-S with the following specs

the price was $2,039.91
how much is their offering ? -
System was $2253.57 with a $44.72 shipping charge for a total of: $2298.29
I guess the things for the price difference are these:
Pros:
i7-4800MQ
Ram is 1866mhz PNP
Monitor Calibration
Cons:
No 30 day no dead/partial pixels
Regular cd/dvd drive(No Blu-ray drive)
No Hard Drive
No Rush Shipping
Also things to note are I don't know anything about LPC's Warranty but I'm guessing they have free shipping for 1 year?
Also I was told Mythologic has a custom bios with more options for the P370SM3. We will have to see if this is true when I get it. I will do full screen shots review when I get it to show any differences. Also I did not
do rush shipping so I am noting for anyone that orders how long a normal order takes(it seems many people here on this site though do rush delivery lol).
