I use the bios for slight adjustments and more permanent adjustments. XTU is more for testing things on the fly.

Think intel even mentioned it one of their presentation slides that 14nm would be active until 2021. How many "+" do you think it'll have in the end? :p

I have a feeling something will get backported from the new node/process to 1151.

A final farewell for the socket 115x maybe?

That would be nice if they’d give us a unlocked 3.5Ghz (10) core With HT for Z370/Z390. Just something to ride out on for the next several years.

Kinda like the 6950X and X99

I guess I’ll be buying in to a new platform soon enough.

In some ways yes but financially they are 1/16th of Intel who can't stop selling every chip they make.

I bought 2 Asus zenscreen mb16ac portable monitors and also got the plugable 100w thunderbolt cable and it seems like the monitor is in standby and isnt connecting to the laptop. Is there anyone that could guide me on what I'm doing wrong?

Thinking about ordering a microchip by the name matrix Blackbox, it's a sms gps tracking chip installed inside the laptop using usb and a 3xxx mAh battery. Does anyone have any other recommendations or experience with anything hardware related?

Perhaps better to have good insurance rather than trying to track down a stolen machine from thieves or relying on the police to go get it.

Suddenly my wifi card stop working so I thought to check if any lose connection but again don’t know to access the wifi card.

Can anyone help me out in i order to open the keyboard and replacing the wifi card. I can only find screw at the back and after removing that screw I don’t know how to open the keyboard.

There is only a single screw. Use a screwdriver to push the KB up through it.

Finally I manage to open the keyboard with help of hex key. I don't know how he insert the screw driver inside that hole because there is no space and hardly manage with this hex key. Honestly i took a big breath and push it then keyboard pop up.

I seen all connection are intact and just push the wires and now the card is working fine and i also update the driver. But i have feeling there is some problem with card.

I sent a message to Donald at HID evolution in regards to getting a P870TM1/TMR barebone with only a LCD display, and no main components.

Hopefully pricing is not to bad. I really want a 17” display and a Prema bios.

It is unfortunate but I will not obtain it any other way.

The tape mod, is one of my favorite mods, making it easy to remove the kb and very useful when ram tuning.

Put tape under KB tray and you can easly lift up the keyboard for fast Cmos reset (without the keyboard screw). The strong magnets hold the KB on place. Remove the tape after you're finish tweaking ram and put the single KB screw back in place.

I just quickly and skillfully pop the keyboard up and out of place. I have (2) keyboard screws though. I have mastered this machine and I know it’s limits, yet for some reason I still try to exceed them lol.

We sell parts/repairs even if people have damaged their machines through their own actions. While I am not directly involved I have helped anyone who reached out to me and in those few cases it's usually just been a misunderstanding or someone missed a shipping notification.

So as a newbie to the forum coming on here making accusations and trying to sell directly on the forum what reaction were you expecting?

I can send you a copy of all the emails even the phone calls I made. The result is that I am here trying to help someone else to maybe fix their laptop if they are in the same position as me. And of course to take verbal abuse from you.
