    If you have installed a non signed driver in test mode, you "can NOT" disable test mode after, it has be active all time. If you disable the driver will fail loading on startup.

    Yes, it has no influence on windows or anything else. Test mode is only disabling the driver signing that windows x64 is doing, thats all. It means it will load drivers that are not signed by microsoft, like the custom graphics drivers.

    Now I am curious why every single one here installed 26300 2202 or 26314 2281 signed why not 26314 2266?

    Most already tried 2266 / 263.00, so they most likely want to ''upgrade'' so you pick the newest available. Why pick 2266 if 2281 works?

    keep up... man!

    Before I say something, has anyone tried 1080p while on battery ? Try it, you will be surprised of BSOD. If only you are using 263.14.

    Driver will work fine if you use low resolution, but that is not perfect driver anymore.

    In this forum i have not seen anyone complained about 263.14... well it is about time

    ta.

    I installed the 26314 - 2266, since I do not have the multicolor bars graphics distortion on the screen when switching from intel to nvidia. With 26314 - 2281 I had that problem.

    But thanks for the drivers, they work great!

    damn...my joy was too early!
    Experienced load of issues with nautis's 260.63 (8.17.12.6063) 2020...
    They runs perfectly, but this things:
    1. Random flickering, depends on nothing while doing actually nothing too...
    2. Switching for intel doesn't allow to switch back on nvidia driver after
    3. Brightness totally doesn't work with nvidia side

    Other than that this drivers is PERFECT
    And i could even forget about any issue, but this ing random flickering...it is very annoying.

    Any suggestions \ thoughts \ ability to fix this driver?
    Please help guys

    Anyone else have a problem with random blown out saturated or too much gamma?

    It seems to happen randomly, the only way to get it back to normal is to reboot . When switching to Nvidia the colors go back to normal also.

    Any solution?
    Thanks

    EDIT: No change after installing SP1. It's not a big issue for me.

    Everything posted here so far is only for VPCZ1(pre stage 1) because I am still working on stage 1.
    Pre stage 2(VGNZ) will come in 5 months time depending how busy I am, but if someone is to take over VGNZ or alienware m11x then it is possible to finish all the project faster.

    Is the Vostro 3700 Hybrid Graphics or Optimus?

    It seems to be Optimus based, so you should be able to download drivers directly from www.nvidia.com

    Hi

    While I was trying to add Skype.exe into WHiteList key found in HKLM>SOFTWARE>NVIDIA Corporation>Hybrid, I figured out that it was not working at all in the latest driver published (26314 2281)

    I remembered that in the previous version I was using, a tooltip was displayed by Nvidia each time graphic cards were switched where It was proposed to "Replace blocking programs" but this menu wasn't available.

    Here is the way to reactivate it in latest drivers 26314 2281 in order to get the possibility back to unblock programs and to remove this annoying window.

    Under the same registry node (HKLM>SOFTWARE>NVIDIA Corporation>Hybrid), you need to change these keys :

    DisableUI -> 0
    HybridSplash -> 1
    ShowManageBlockingProgramsUI -> 1

    After that, rebbot. You should have Nvidia icon available in taskbar.
    Switch to SPEED mode. A menu appears where you can see something like "Replace blocking programs", click on it.
    In this menu, you can add a new program and decide to block switching or not if this one is running

    Thanks for the feedback.

    You don't need to change hybrid splash to 1

    By the way this feature is inside special features 1 inf inside all my packages.

    I got occasional (memory related?) crashes with ShowManageBlockingProgramsUI set to 1. Anyone else experiencing something similar? Or perhaps I'm just whitelisting the wrong applications.

    What does the HybridSplash setting do?

    I have 36 programs tested and no error, VPCZ1 26314 2266 tested for 3 weeks before uploaded here.

    I forgot what hybrid splash I will check and explain next week.

    Heh. I've got a BenQ Joybook S42 (9600M GT and 4500MHD) running the official Alienware M11x R1 197.72 driver since it came out.

    I haven't had a chance to test any other drivers yet. Just running the driver without ShowManageBlockingProgramsUI enabled till I have time to mess around again. It could well be a bug with the older driver.

    edit:
    Okay. Thanks for the info.

    On my side with the default install, NVidia menu is not visible. So there is no way to manage blocking programs as far as I get.

    If you want this menu, you need to modify key in registry or to use Special features 1 or 2 modifying INF before installing, right ? Do you see another possibility ?

    Yeah I understood but I installed the default package with no special feature (default inf).
    As a result, I wasn't able to remove this annoying popup when I was switching except with reinstalling drivers or changing registry by myself.

    That's what I did :)
