ok will see how. thanks for the offer.

    i have never see 263.24
    btw 263.14 - 2266 is more stable than 263.14 - 2281, i am sure of this.

stage 1 development for t410i/s halted, wrong package sent.

    Hello all Vaio graphics gurus.

Has anyone found a way to run two external monitors = extended desktop on a Vaio Z (laptop display closed)? Either natively or through some gadget?

That's a dealbreaker for me if it won't work...

    vidock can do it

please be patient, the Lenovo Thinkpad T410i/s driver failed to install because i forgot to put 1 sentence. :p

    edit:
VGNZ user also must be patient, i saw alienware released 26308 - 1994 hybrid driver.
    so i can guess 26314 - 2226 or 26314 - 2281 will work

    edit2:
beta VGNZ driver uploaded tester needed
I know that i am very random, but please help me with the development, thanks in advance.

    Hi andrew,

I have tried your version of 263.14, and noticed when you move any windows back and forth it creates a jitter effects. However, this does not apply to Intel, by switching to Stamina mode windows transition is smooth.

You have re-created the same problem as
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/son...-vaio-z-s-hybrid-graphics-64.html#post5372387

    Please update your inf file.

In addition to your previous post about running in battery mode. Have you tried shutting down laptop & start the laptop in battery mode ? With your modded driver, I got a BSOD running in 1080p.
I don't get any of BSOD problems when i start the laptop in power plug, and use battery subsequently.

    Thanks for your feedback.

I am very sorry to hear you problem, but I keep trying everyone's complain:
    1. Bars appears when starting up 26314-2281
    2. Jitters while moving windows
    3. Can't install
    4. 1080p can't start while using battery
    5. BSOD
I can't produce even a single one, I can proof you by uploading full videos of this 4 things, If possible please provide me with more information.
Thanks for reminding me that my inf is outdated, I'll try to update and upload my inf next week and I hope this can fix everyone's issue.

    Dear Andrew,

Don't worry about my problems. I only mentioned it because I think you can fix it.

Whilst, I have modded my very own version of inf. Therefore, I dont' have the similar problem as the above.

    Andrew08,
Ive been using 2281 for almost a week , and everthing was great, (apart from ugly picture during the startup while switching between graphic cards) but now i get this problem which i used to experience with original drivers. When im working in word, or browsing or doing any othre sort of activity all of sudden computer freezes, screen goes to black, and green light switchtes to stamina from speed. At that point no matter what i do , computer doesnt respond , so i have to do a "hard reset" I thought it was caused by video card driver, and i was really excited that ur driver version kinda fixed it, i.e. i didnt expeirience it for about a week , but today this happened again. 2 times already during 5-6 hours of working. Is there anything u could do about it , or perhaps suggest something ? Thanks man !

    p.s. i got vaio vpcz13s9r/b

3400 comes in both flavors. early models were single video card, then came hybrids, possibly back to single cards now. only way to tell is to check the device mngr.

as for me - since my lap is back from warranty repair two days ago, you're right - i'd complained about the hybrid graphics in the cover letter & it came back with a single graphic card - they'd changed the mobo, said the ticket.

i'd wasted a week trying to get the system to behave with the hybrid both on 7-64 & xp-32. so now i'm a happy camper with a shorter battery life and nvidia 310m only. others out there are still suffering, though.

before the swap, the devId's were:
    nvidia
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A75&SUBSYS_044D1028&REV_A2\4&2AAA616A&0&0008
    intel
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&SUBSYS_044D1028&REV_18\3&11583659&0&10

    now it is:
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A75&SUBSYS_04401028&REV_A2

I forgot what is the exact name for this key, somwthinf like allowadditionaldisplay. Will check for you this saturday.

Please use 26314 2266 for stability. 2281 only test driver.

    I will reupload T410i/s first.
After I finish with 3700 I will include 3400 inside.

    What does it mean "poo"?

    Edit:
I mean, poo does not include details... resolution, graphic details, directX, FPS.... these kind of stuff... Even Crysis 1 should not run fluently on Z

Be more specific please, I am curious....

If you really wanted to play crysis 2 that much I have only 1 suggestion
    Follow thomaskc.dk's way
    How?
Use advance bios, change to dedicated graphics and install latest NVIDIA driver.
Latest NVIDIA hybrid graphic end with 26314 2281 unstable and 26314 2266 stable.

Crysis feels a little bit lag, but crysis warhead runs fluently.

Thanks for the awesome drivers. I am using the 260.63 Nautis drivers on my Z12 and I just watched 2 movies last night using nVidia's 3Dvision kit. I just added the USB emitter drivers and the control panel from the 3D Vision 1.36 CD and boom, I have 3D with the Acer H5360.

Yea, same thing, the version I got I think is newer and comes with a Starcraft trial. I really don't care because I don't play games. I bought 2 kits from newegg Newegg.com - NVIDIA 3D Vision – StarCraft II Trial Edition Model 942-10701-0007-002

When I bought them they were $125. I was going to buy a kit and an extra pair of glasses from amazon but the kit from amazon was $162 and the extra glasses were $100 so it was cheaper to buy two kits from newegg. Now I have an extra emitter and a whole bunch of extra cables.... I wonder if I can run 2 emitters at once for an even stronger signal?

    Hi everybody,
I come to you because I got lot's of problem with my z13c5e.

I buy recovery cd, but when I try to restore, the 7th cd is not recognized as the 7th cd, so install can't progress after 28%.

So i restore my laptop with the "assist" bind.
So now, I foloow step you say to install driver of my NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M.

But I got this error after install and no driver pilot run.

"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

How can I change this ?

    Need help plz.

    I do what I say, and when I install 263.00 (8.17.12.6300)

Windows tell me that driver sign is not valid, I can choose to install them whatever, so thaht what I do, but I got an error during the installation, after 4-5 windows security confirmations.

Edit: I reinstall the driver, installation successfull, I restart my laptop, and now my NVIDIA GeForce GT330M and my Intel HD Graphics don't work both.

    That say me :

"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

I don't understand because I follow step from 1st post, I'm in "Mode test
    Windows 7
    number 7601"

If someone know How I can arrive to don't have this error (Code 52), say to windows to ignore this perhaps.

    Thanks !

does your driver work with 3D Vision?
I picked 260.63 because there are matching 3D vision drivers on the 3D Vision 1.36 CD. I don't know of any 3D Vision drivers that work with 263.xx

I am not inclined to mess with it anymore since it works perfectly right now.

On the lowest settings 1280x720 , It lags real bad. Im not looking for 60FPS, but 25-20 would be nice enough. COD Black Ops runs REAL nice on the Z. I know Crysis has always been another animal, but if you look on youtube, there are other laptops with i3's and 330m's running in much better than what I get on my Z 2.66 i7.

I had this stutter issue with another driver when i tried MW2, but it was resolved with one of thomas's or andrew's driver updates.

Shoot, the system even turned off while trying to play it.

Sure as heck doesn't run like this lower spec F11...

What about a 266.xx driver? I was not able to get 263.xx to work with 3D Vision.
Perhaps I should start looking at how to make my own. I just looked at the nVidia site and they released 267.76 yesterday.

I have only one issue with the 260.63 driver (that I am using now), if I have my laptop plugged into an HDTV over HDMI and I start WinDVD the screen goes black, I then need to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in and it works fine after that. It isn't even that big of a deal since I play movies with either MPC-HC, VLC, or StereoScopic player. I haven't tried any games. All I do is watch 3D Blu-ray and regular Blu-ray.

I've chekced your 26308 - Intel 1994 beta 2 signed for VGN-Z, nothing have changed, but they overheats and noise more than nautis's 260.63 intel 2020..
Still have issues with constant flicker, switching from nvidia to intel and unable to switch back, and can't change brightness on nvidia :\

Hope you can fix it in next releases, and please try to keep heat and noise level as nautis's 260.63 intel 2020, it's PERFECT combination, other than flicker and brightness issues...

    thx for your work!

I've also found that UAC have turned on and i can't turn it off coz panel crashes, and the regedit branch of UAC doesn't even exist no more O_O
That must be realted due i have win 7 SP1, please check this up too...
