I never download drivers from Station Drivers. I only trust... Win-Raid.com. They are best on Intel drivers. And I don't even trust on whats come from Intel's own download page, this tell you everything

Use the INF for manual installation :hi: I will now walk a trip with my Dog, bruh

Doesn't that install everything even unnecessary things/drivers from next iteration of intel cpus? I had to manually delete Kabylake drivers after installing.

right but if I don't use the -overall command and just install the Intel Chipset software, I see a lot of the devices without the proper name as shown in the screenshot above of my device manager

    My conclusions:
    1. The installation of any "Intel(R) Chipset Device Software" or their included INF files is only useful, if the Device Manager shows a yellow mark at an Intel (VEN_8086) device with a "missing driver".
    2. Since the newest Windows Operating systems are able to detect and to name by their own all Intel chipset devices, which were on the market at the release of the OS, there is usually no need at all and no benefit for the users to install or update the Intel chipset device INF files (often named by mistake "Intel chipset drivers").
    3. Only users with a brandnew Intel chipset (from 8-Series up for Windows 7, from 9-Series up for Windows 8/8.1) or a very old Windows OS should install the latest suitable *.INF files for their specific Intel Chipset Devices to get rid from the "missing driver" message within the Device Manager.
    4. Forcing the installation of a not required or already present Intel Chipset Device INF file (e.g. by using the " -overall" command) doesn't make any sense, but will blow up the user's registry and the Windows\inf folder with garbage (unused resp. unusable oemxx.inf files). Furthermore the forced installation of unusable drivers generally may overwrite actually in use other drivers and can cause degraded performance or a lack of features.
People should stop ut then start thinking. Maybe they finally can understand why so many others (than themself) never run into problems. This for drivers, software and the ****y from the Redmond HQ.
Run RAPR and see if you can find old items.

Use Rapr aka Driver STore Explorer from Chef koch Git page or from lostindark repo.
You can safely remove Skylake and older susbsytem inf since you don't use it.
Sorry I was at work so couldn't reply when I making/repairing BGA. Anyway, You can use BCUninstaller to uninstall intel chipset SW by ticking off Show system components and protected items, that way you get Clean install like experience for Intel drivers. So, no need for -overall or -overide cmds.

Well Microsoft Windows 10 has one with me and probably a million other people too, spent 2 weeks on and of and the last 3 days straight trying to install a fresh install 10 (1803)
without all the invasion, thought I had it right but no mater what I do with all the blocking software or tweaks it still downloads their bloody nVidia drivers + Audio + 3D Vision which I don't want and even a Logitech update. Ive tried O&O ShutUp10 v1.6.1398 and used WUMT Wrapper Script v2.4.2 to disable the drivers I don't want but guess what they still download in the background., unless I stop dead all updates from Microsoft completely.
Where do we go from here?????????????

Thanks Mate tried all those tweaks but the latest MS version seems to by pass them and still does the download in the back ground, quick screen flash and I'm back with their version of nVidia drivers.
I can live with the other drivers eg. Logitech but not nVidia that's my main concern.
I wish their was a option like Win7 that you could turn off or chose what you want to install.
Someone needs to make a program to do what Win7 did and they would be god even worth paying them.

Haven't the problem. But here is one more https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-update-delivery-optimization

Rather use Windows 10 sub forum. Tweaks in there. This is the Intel drivers sub-forum.

Who told you that? I only use RAID 0

Super RAID 4 is NOT RAID 4, it is just MSI's marketing name for their software RAID technology; how you setup the RAID and what array you choose is up to you

Does anyone has installation package of Intel Wireless Driver Only without ProSet package? Like Wireless_18.12.1_Ds64.exe or any other Ds64? Intel cleaned their site from links on these packages and I sure thing don't need their 100+ MB bloatware.
