Meh.. I just like to keep things simple :)
What's the point of getting a dock when you have shortcuts?

I for one have far more than 5 shortcuts, I have about 40 and without a dock it would look a mess. I have some of them in a stacks docklet so when I click an dock icon a box comes up with the shortcuts.

What dock software do you use and/or how did you get the start button on there?

Once when I owned a Inspiron 6400, i had rocket dock with turn off, restar, hibernate shortcuts with some cool icons. I don't remember how I got them, but I will research for them though.

Edit: If you are using rocketdock, there is a docklet that gives you the shutdown, restart and lock shortcuts.

Here is a new pic of my desktop with the shortcuts added to the dock...

I was referring to Nara's desktop where it looks like (s)he has two docks, and the top one has what I assume to be a start button on it, unless its just a skinned taskbar.

I know...I realized that you were asking about that...I was just pointing out that it can be found through rocket dock, by looking for the link file.

He seems to be using Objectdock, I know that one enables 2 docks.

I'm using both objectdock and rocketdock (the top one is objectdock). The start button I believe is package together with objectdock. Just right click on objectdock -----> Add -----> New "Start Menu Launcher". Hope this help.

Yup, it's HUD.Vision skin (I did a little modification to it though).

Thanks, just wanted to clarify we are on the same page.

I had played with both a while ago, but I will try objectdock again, Thanks.

There's a start menu docklet for Rocketdock but it doesn't work that great with Vista cause the start menu will always open in its original position unlike that of Objectdock (start menu hovers over the icon :) ). If you're interested, you can get it from the link below.

Thats a cool photo. The stock market did bounce back nicely today, and here's hoping that this means the recovery is underway finally.

Edit: It'll take a while for a full recovery... but I'm optimistic with President Obama's administration's plans working.
