Why? Why would you post that? That is just a comment in big letters that doesn't even provide an explanation. Why post if you're not going to help?
No problem dude. Be sure to post another thread if you need any more help.

ok one more question...is there a way to take the clock that is the default on on the bar and make it like digital or pop up or something easier to read lol...telling time is dumb lol
-
Also make sure you post your desktop pics with OD in the NBR Image Gallery.
OD is a great way to "clean up" your desktop and has some nice docklets... -
Calm down Cal. You know damn well theres other folks in here posting what they prefer without reason.
But just for good sakes, my reasons are simple. Like you said, OD does well with memory usage. The minimization animation is very smooth in OD compared to Rocketdock. Themes and icons are easy to find for both. Both OD and RD have docklets that the other doesn't have but also have docklets that are interchangeable (i.e Kk menu, Cpu Monitor) One feature I like about OD is the flyout weather icon. Rocketdock doesn't have that, at least to my knowledge. Another plus is that Stardock is a big-name company so thats always good. -

Am I the only one that has stability problems with OD? (new vostro)

What happens?

for RK Launcher users, there was an update version (yesterday) that included multiple stack-docklets support

i enjoy objectdock
-
Here's my desktop with object dock...
Sheer options, and awesome customizable icons, gives object dock the advantage. (Although it does use around 9,000 RAM for me but I'm ok with that... -
i'm having a fancy good time with objectdock
-
Does anyone know where we can download the "genie effect" animation for Objectdock?
-
You can get the genie effect at the rk launcher site
-
^Does it work for Objectdock?
Edit*
Looks like the genie effect is only for Rk. =(
+1 for Rk Launcher. -
I still don't get how some of you guys are saying Object Dock only uses 4k, when I have objeckdock.exe at 19MB and Dock64.exe at 4MB.
-
i think it changes dramatically depending on useage. i had it up to 15MB but now after letting it sit for awhile (and one 20 minute hibernating period if that makes any difference) it's at 6MB...
meh. -
For those using Objectdock, do any of you guys experience a 10+ second freeze whenever you open up Task Manager? This is getting on my nerves.
-
No, I don't.
-
I don't experience it either.
-
I know why its freezing now. I unchecked "reserve edge of screen" and the freezing is gone.
-
-
^Yeah there isn't a Plugin folder I see for OD. There isn't even an option for which type of effect you can choose from in the settings.
Anyone have any idea when the next OD release will be? -
i think the best dock is the windows task bar.
-
^^Why even post?
Also, everyone can try Y'z dock as well. -
Y'z is only for XP. At least thats what it said when I tried to run it.
The only other dock I want to try but am too lazy is RocketDock. -
It's also pretty good.
Try running Y'z in compatibility mode. -
object dock here!!!
-
I jsut did Object Dock. i like it very much. Has a huge library of themes, icons that make this a great application.
-
I run OBject Dock in XP, I haven't tried it yet in Vista...but I might have to now that y'all reminded me.
The BEST thing that I like in ObjectDock, that I couldn't get working in RocketDock is the SysTray docklet...it give you the system tray so you don't lose it...gotta loves it. -
objectdock plus. yeah.
-
wincustomize now wants me to pay for the icons/themes. pfft.
anywhere else to get OD themes and icons? -

I tried both Objectdock & Rocketdock .. i like ObjectDock better..it has better feel
-
RocketDock eats much less memory to me, around 6 mb. RocketDock all the way
-
-
My question is what dock looks more like Leapord ? Rocket Dock or Object Dock ? actually what one has the better theme for it.
I love windows but i love the way the new dock looks in leapord.
Thanks all. -
I don't use rocket dock, but I like OBject dock. I think both have customizable skins, so you could find a leopard skin most likely
-
Sorry both have theme you can add to -

this topic got me really interested in docks now lol.
Does OD really only use 6~mb. How constant would you say this stays?
Also, what is your main reason for using a dock? is it just for looks? I managed without one for all my years of computing (only 18 right now though). Would it be very beneficial? I plan to use it on my laptop if I can be convinced.
Thanks guys -
I used Both..,. Personallly i prefer object dock as it retains the default icons as well as ability to have customized icons..
Rocketdock just doesnt FEEL good -
Right about now I believe that I have a cleaner desktop. -
Hi all, im thinking of going with Object Dock now just because of the name that backs the product. My only question is what does the SysTray docklet do ? Is this where you can see all the info / icons that you use on your current task bar on the right side where the clock is ? If not is there something i can use to show me battery / wireless/ status if i hide the task bar and just use the dock ?
