But its no longer needed. Upgrading from minor build to another minor build works fine. Just use Dism++ expert mode to clear out the junk before prepping it for update. Windows 10: Dump during the upgrade
Published on November 24, 2018 by Günter Born
Occasionally, users run into the problem of Windows 10 (but also an older version) getting stuck during an upgrade. Experienced users could then determine the cause of the trailer by means of a memory dump. But how can you perform a memory dump during an upgrade?

Windows 10 October 2018 Update Gets Blocked on Some More Machines Wccftech.com | 4th Dec
It’s been over two months since the initial release of Windows 10 1809 and there is no stopping the issues that continue to push Microsoft to put upgrade blocks in place.
No other Windows 10 version has seen so many “upgrade blocks”
Microsoft originally released Windows 10 October 2018 Update in October. However, it pulled it back after just a couple of days due to a plethora of issues being reported. An additional four weeks were taken before the latest edition of Windows 10 was released to the public again. However, since then we continue seeing more problems being reported. Microsoft has itself updated the history page over a few times, confirming various issues affecting a limited number of units.
The problems affecting version 1809 may not be widespread but since 2015 when the original version of Windows 10 was released, we have never seen so many reports around a single Windows 10 version that would push the company to put upgrade blocks in place. Microsoft has promised to change its development and testing policies, but the October Update 2018 is yet to benefit from those changes. -

Hey man, thank you for creating this stripped Windows ISO to share. I am curious, is stripping away Cortana + Windows Defender from the ISO entirely better than disabling with a utility like O&O Shut Up?
-
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
Not really, the end result is the same. But if one is creating a de-bloated ISO to get rid of all of the Windows Store apps, etc. Might as well remove them. But it doesn't necessarily mean you should format your computer and waste time to re-installing unless you are facing an issue with your current OS and were going to format anyway.

Flash Player 32.0.0.101 - KB4471331 addresses critical vulnerability
And here is a new Change log for latest Build directly from Redmand Moron HQ for yoo, bruh

This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:
- Addresses an issue in Microsoft Edge with using the drag-and-drop feature to upload folders from the Windows desktop to a file hosting service website, such as Microsoft OneDrive. In some scenarios, files contained in the folders fail to upload, with possibly no error reported on the web page to the user.
- Addresses an issue that degrades Internet Explorer performance when you use roaming profiles or you don't use the Microsoft Compatibility List.
- Addresses updated time zone information for Fiji.
- Addresses time zone changes for Moroccan daylight standard time.
- Addresses time zone changes for Russian daylight standard time.
- Addresses an issue that causes display settings to stop working when changing a multi-monitor configuration.
- Addresses an issue that displays a black screen on some servers when waking a display from sleep.
- Addresses an issue with long delays in taking a photo when using the Camera app in certain lighting conditions.
- Addresses an issue that prevents live TV Hulu content from playing in Microsoft Edge; instead, a black screen appears.
- Addresses an issue that stops Bluetooth® headsets from receiving audio input after several minutes of listening.
- Addresses an issue that causes the Brightness slider preference to be reset to 50% when the device restarts.
- Addresses an issue with the OEM manufacturing processes when running sysprep /generalize.
- Addresses an issue with Microsoft Intune that causes devices to be incorrectly marked as not compliant because a firewall incorrectly returns a 'Poor' status. As a result, the affected devices will not receive conditional access compliance approval and may be blocked from access to corporate resources such as email.
- Addresses a performance issue with vSwitch on network interface cards (NIC) that do not support Large Send Offload (LSO) and Checksum Offload (CSO).
- Updates the Wi-Fi policy for service set identifier (SSID) filtering to avoid filtering out Wi-Fi Direct devices.
- Addresses an issue that causes rasman.exe to stop responding.
- Addresses an issue in which regedit.exe fails to add double null terminator to REG_MULTI_SZ values in the Windows registry. The missing terminator may prevent services and applications from reading REG_MULTI_SZ values that regedit.exe adds after installing the operating system.
- Addresses an issue with RemoteApp visibility that may cause the main window to disappear until the user clicks the screen.
- Addresses an issue that prevents some users from setting Win32 program defaults for certain app and file type combinations using the Open with…command or Settings > Apps > Default apps.
- Addresses an issue that may cause mapped drives to fail to reconnect after starting and logging onto a Windows device.
Known issues in this update
Symptom Workaround
After installing this update, users may not be able to use the Seek Bar in Windows Media Player when playing specific files. This issue does not affect normal playback. Microsoft is working on a resolution and estimates a solution will be available mid-December 2018.
nVidia has notified Microsoft of an issue where Microsoft Edge may crash or hang while playing video. This issue occurs following an nVidia driver update.
nVidia has released an updated driver to address this issue. Please follow the instructions found in nVidia's support article.
As you can see... If you click the link to Nvidia. All you get is the older Hotfix driver and not the newer but massively flawed nVIDIA Graphics Driver 417.22

Windows 10: Update KB4467682 breaks custom start menu
Published on December 7, 2018 by Günter Born
[ Deutsch ] The cumulative update KB4467682 for Windows 10 version 1803, released at the end of November 2018, has an unpleasant side effect. Once the update is installed, you will no longer be able to use custom startup menus in Windows 10. Because the configuration is not evaluated properly, the display of the pinned apps is faulty. Here is some information about the topic.

Microsoft yanks buggy second monthly cumulative update for Win10 version 1803, KB 4467682
Posted on December 6th, 2018 at 13:33 woody Comment on the AskWoody Lounge
Remember the buggy Win10 version 1803 patch that bluescreens Surface Book 2 machines?
Microsoft urged Surface Book 2 owners to boot around the bluescreen and uninstall the patch. Which is just what you want to tell your boss about her brand new, expensive Surface Book 2, right?
Looks like MS has retracted completely and pulled the patch. The KB article now says:
After installing this optional update some users have reported getting a blue or black screen with error code, “System thread exception not handled.” As a precaution, we have removed this optional update from Windows Update and Microsoft Update Catalog to protect customers. Fixes and improvements will be available in the December 2018 security update release and will include a resolution for this issue.
One can only hope that Microsoft will test this patch, for a change, before it appears.
And that “optional” stuff. That’s just a fig leaf. The second monthly cumulative updates are “optional” in the sense that you have to click on Check for Updates. Which isn’t exactly optional, to my way of thinking.
Thx Günter Born, who promises to have a blog post tomorrow that describes a second bug in the same cumulative update.6.|THE|1|BOSS|.9, Kevin@GenTechPC, Spartan@HIDevolution and 2 others like this. -

Also if I got the no bloatware version will I still have to use an aftermarket start menu for the search function? -

No difference, it's just that the No Bloatware takes the major headache away so you don't have to start from scratch.
Yes you do need OpenShell which is the continued development of the now discontinued ClassicShell which is the best Start Menu out there.
Open-Shell (Formerly Classic-Start)
Here are my pre configured XML Settings which you can import, it makes it look exactly like the Windows 7 Start Menu: https://mega.nz/#!yHp0kAYb!qvH6MX5lFhelTltzG3LU6b7GQdRuKuMyBg5bbmmbpzg -
I suggest take the opportunity to grab the bloatware free that ultra male made if it is available and follow his guide.. I keep using what he shares and always 100 percent headache free from my perspective.. I only have to do the clean install once until I get bored and install a new win10 version.. Will i be able to perform updates? I have a "nobloatware" iso that I retrieved from "majorgeeks" and I'm currently having issues updating it to kb4407702
I'm curious, as I prefer to run the security patches at least.
But If I'm understanding this correctly I don't have to do a clean install unless it's a major/ cumulative update? (Please correct me if I'm wrong ) -
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
The ISO you're using from MajorGeeks is
WINDOWS 10 NOBLOATWARE EDITION
My ISO has EVERYTHING working 100%
The ISO from MajorGeeks is extremely crippled as everything has been stripped off blindly without using any logic as to what may actually be needed like the Windows Store for example which a lot of drivers now rely on it to install apps/utilities that make the driver work correctly (ie. Synaptics Touchpad Driver, Nahimic Audio for MSI Notebooks, and so forth)
You need to format your laptop and install a proper ISO ASAP
PS: If you do end up installing my bloatware free ISO, please make sure the moment you see the Windows Desktop, before you do anything, launch command prompt as admin and copy/paste this command then hit ENTER:
That is a MUST to ensure an error free operation to cleanup the traces of the garbage removedCode:DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase
