I decided to go back to a Feedback way. If someone agrees with any my feedback and you currently use Win10 Preview then feel free to post the same or find mine and click button Me too.

Feedback about Size of Start Panel and Auto-Narrowing option (lack of it)
    Start>Titles Arrangement>BUG
Auto narrow size of the Start Panel!!! Why the hack do I need a Start Menu as wide as 4 medium block IF I DELETED ALL TITLES FROM THE VERY RIGHT VERTICAL ROW??!
It must Auto-Narrow itself. IT JUST MUST!

Bew Build 10056: Screenshots leaked: http://wzascok.livejournal.com/37418.html

Changes to be seen in the screenshots:
    - New icons (Recycle bin, Multidesktop icon)
    - Power-off button has a new position
    - Start menu seems to be resizable again

Not much more...I hope we will see a new build with more features at least at BUILD.

Better but still bad. They like wait 2-3 builds before they solve the biggest problems/wishes.

Icons: Recycle bin is better than that nonsense but still could be better. As I wrote before - MS goes back to Win95.
Power-Off button. They made it better for horizontal task panel... but will they keep the old position for vertica where it's closer to Start button? I bet they don't so that's another feedback to be sent.
Resizeable Start Menu? I hope that I also can now disable those empty rectangular at the very top if I don't want to name the title group.

He may not. Explorer is not IE, it is explorer.exe. Kill this process through device manager to see yourself.

Never experienced that first hand so I didn't know. Googled and plenty of people appear to be bothered by this.

I installed Win10 TP in two laptops and the OS is very buggy. I don't think the OS is ready for May.

From what I've heard this would make a lot of civil attorneys very happy if it were a car instead of an OS. :)

Yes, I low level formatted both Laptops before doing fresh install. The initial build was 9879. Then several months later, the W10 updated itself to build 1004.

That search/Cortana bar takes a lot of space on taskbar. I remember in previous builds it was always minimized when not in use, but looking now at fresh build pictures, it seems like it is always "on". Is there still a way to minimize search bar in new builds?

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCREWING WITH US!
And by "US" I mean those who spend his precious time for using tech builds and trying to help this doomed company! And I'm not talking about how more bugged piece of crap it becomes build-by-build while it should be opposite.

When I see every build I always think that NOW they can't screw their...
UPDATE: Right at this moment I tried to launch Dimmer for my eyes and after error message decided to install MS Visual C++ 2005-2008-2010-2012-2013 [32-64] with Uninstall Tool tracking. The moment I launched I got a stroboscope screen which never stopped unless logged out through Ctrl-Alt-Delete but appears as soon as logged back.
... screw their OS even further but looks like they use all time for breaking all what is still not broken yet.

    THIS TIME:
    1. Start Menu is NOT resizeable. READ EDIT BELOW! It just became >50% wider! Now 6
blocks instead of 4 plus area-separator between each 3.
Perhaps final version gonna let you customize Start Menu size but we, beta-testers, deserve it now! For time we spend on testing work!
    2. They fricken "fixed" Touch Keyboard now. It covers 75% wide of my FullHD 17"! And we can't resize it! Why the h@ck I need it so HUGE ON PC??! I use Screen Keyboard with Screen Magnifier, use mouse. I could resize KB on Windows 7, can't on Win8 AND NOW it became an elephant so can't see even 70% of Keyboard when 200% zoomed.
Also... they deleted old KB Panel on Task Panel and now there is tiny new icon near the time/date which can't be moved nor resized.
    Stubborn dunkeys.
    3. Power button's location is not comfortable with vertical Task Panel.

P.P.S. I'm done. I gonna send latest feedback to MS about latest build, create couple hate videos about latest builds and done with their beta-builds. It's like someone there wants MS to die and customers to leave.
P.S. killkenny1, Search Panel still can be hied or minimized.
EDIT: Start IS resizeable but doest auto-resize as in earlier 90xx builds. Sorry for inconvenience, had no time to investigate deeper because Win10 borked soon after install.

Nice Overview video about the leaked build 10056:

Shows the new resizable Start-Menu, Transparent task-bar, new Weather, Calendar and Mail apps, the new dark-theme etc.

I heard RTM might be released on Build at the end of April, and mostly there is speculation about an August release (because Microsoft said "this summer").

Bugs and glitches are expected. For me, the problem will be issues with my precious Microsoft Band and Bluetooth. I will get over it. I Will be in the loop for the fix. The ability to see and offer feedback is entertaining. I like beta testing, always have. All the way, Microsoft Fan Girl.

It appears that I was wrong about resize ability because I had time just for checking auto-resizing as it was moved since earlier 9079 and before builds.
And right in the time of writing my first impressions I got that stroboscope bug which persists even after reboot so I had to finish typing on Windows 7 (NBR saved written in the Quick Reply box) so I couldn't investigate and search deeper.
And I checked that manual border resize on 1004X builds and it was not presented there so made a conclusion that if autoresizemissing is not changed then manual is the same.

I'm sorry that someone can believe that I post hatred flood but seriously, what I write is what Win10 deserves now, it could be such a great masterpeace if devs would accomodate new ideas into Win7 base but instead they just created Frankenstein of some sort.

Launched Metro 2033 Redux and it has better results on Windows 10 than on Seven. And practically no dropdowns at all. All is on 350.12 drivers. However I must say that my Seven already needs to be reinstalled, some crapware broke some stuff in it so perhaps it's not its fault.

Still lazy to make a "calm" video about disadvantages of current Win10 build against 7 but here are screenshots of what I sent feedback about. Just 2 for now:
    1. Touch Keyboard from Task Panel now is behemoth-sized and isn't resizable. And is still opaque which covers much space.
    2. Details Pane which used to be at the bottom in Windows 7 is on the right side (WHY?!) and that is crazy I think.
Please go to Feedback App and post the same suggestion if you agree.

But yeah, they want your feedback, not to offer free OS with TP label. Logic.

The Windows 10 Beta updates will keep coming, but never install a BETA as your main OS, always do it on a test system, VM, or multi-boot.

A complete re-install when final release arrives is to be expected too.

Matrix Leader6, are you under the impression that a completely bug free piece of software actually exists? :)

Do you think there is a state of perfection that can be reached for a piece of software, and that companies should wait until that time arrives before releasing their software?

The reality is that truly bug free software likely doesn't exist, never has existed, and never will exist.

This is where continuous development / integration comes in, so that new code is fresh in the mind of the developer as bugs are found and fixed early on instead of well down the road while mixed in with lots of other changes.

By constantly improving features and reducing bugs, while the new features introduce new bugs, the final product can be much better out of the gate than in the past.

Even the alpha and beta releases can be used day to day, the "Google way". And the Windows 10 Release seems to be on that same level - rapid integration of new features and bug fixes - with quick response / change to user input.

The Windows 10 BETA software will indeed have more bugs, new features that don't make it into the "released product", but it is still a worthy show to watch, and participate in.

Windows 10 build 10074 is released and available for download from Windows Update.
The biggest change has to do with Cortana, Microsoft's personal assistant. There's now a sidebar from which you can access Notebook, Reminders, Places, Music, Help, and Settings.
There's a little animation when you launch Cortana from the Start menu.

    Also to note:

"In addition to showing off holographic apps and revealing the name of its post-IE browser, Microsoft has also released its latest Windows 10 preview build for PCs today. The build (now called "Insider Preview" instead of "Technical Preview") introduces quite a lengthy list of new and experimental features, including Windows 7's Aero Glass design. Apparently, a lot of preview users asked Redmond to bring Aero Glass black, since company dropped the feature from Windows 8. To test it out, half of those installing the new build will see their Start menu and taskbar in normal transparency, while half will see theirs with a frosted glass effect"

If they truly bring back Aero, I may just be upgrading. That was the straw a while back that brought me out of Windows 8.x. I say may bring me back as I will have to see how badly the rest of the UI has been blown up.

By "brought Aero" they mean "brought Blur to already transparent areas which are Start, Task Panel, maybe something else". In previous build I saw some hints that they will finally bring transparency to the top panel of every window but those settings either meant something else or didn't work by that time.

The reason for the "IF", as it still is a wait and see. As you can tell I am not going to hold my breath waiting however.

Sorry, Language barrier. I thought that "If _present simple_ then _Future Simple_" would mean that you will switch to 10 ater they bring Aero to this or any other future build, including Final.
But reading you I decided that you are talking just about current 10074 build.

Build 10102 is earlier than 10074. Don't ask why.

Okay, here you are. My thoughts about latest Windows 10 and without bad words! ;) 15 minutes video but if you never use touch/on-screen keyboard you can forward 3 minutes shortly after I begin reviewing it.
