Everything is possible but at least some people that tested these things on 1645 thread seem to be VERY experienced guys, I doubt they didn't noticed that.
Anyway, the good news seems to be the confirmation that M6500 doesn't throttle ... :)

Thanks for you time and effort.

I was able to get it to throttle. When the GPU hits 90c, it will lower the cpu speed to 11x until the GPU goes below 80. Then it goes right back to 15x.

Just remember that I am a new to throttle investigating. I could have done something wrong. I have a screen shot that I took after 45 minutes without a throttle, so maybe the process of getting that shot messed something up. Who knows...

If your machine throttled only after 45 minutes of continuous Furmark+Prime95 test (an extremely stressing test) and only after having reached 90C, then automatically de-throttled after cooling, well ... I think it's a perfectly reasonable and desirable behaviour!, :) of a different nature from BIOS and AC induced throttling, unrelated to temperature.

I am going to run some extensive testing for UncleWebb (another user at the center of the 1645 throttles) tomorrow. Will be testing to see how many watts are pulled from the outlet under load and whether there is actually any throttling.

What I saw earlier in CPU-Z may not have been a throttle :)

Well, at least it comes with an 210W powerbrick, so lack of power should not be an issue.. I hope Dell took in consideration when designing the mobo that it may use this much power too.
