yeah taht's dissapointing, i also have the 1510, and i'll see if i have that problem as well, but i'm pretty sure you won't need hte a band for too much stuff.

    Hey Iggiepop,

Sorry for the late reply, but at the moment, I am not experiencing any skipping/stuttering with my sound card and I did not disable the A-band. However, please note that I am running Windows XP as opposed to Vista.

But since we are on the topic of wireless device, I am however experiencing lower signal with this laptop. With any other laptop at home (1 dell inspiron 17inch, 1 macbook, 1 netbook); I am getting "Excellent" as opposed to "Good/Very Good" on this laptop. I have yet to play with my wireless settings.

Finally, as a confirmation to my Team Fortress 2 framerates. Leaving the settings to the auto-detect recommended settings (High) and changing the res to 800x600; I am getting 25-60 fps after 1 1/2 hours of gameplay. for people that know the game, I played on pl_goldrush and pl_badwater on 32 people servers.

    Cheers,

Mine is coming with Vista Business and the Windows XP download. I will use XP and then see the reviews on Windows 7 and upgrade to that later. Too bad they are not including a free upgrade to Windows 7 when we buy.

Nope, unfortunately the 1320 only has one speaker (right on the front of the laptop near the power/battery LED.

It says two speakers on the spec sheet on the website but that's not the case.

windows 7 auto-detected everything (graphic card, NIC, wireless, audio, etc) but from the windows update they have some update driver for Windows 7.

5.8/5.8/3.7/4.9/5.3 is my 1st Windows experience index mark and after updated the WDDM 1.1 update from Windows Update my graphics mark decrease to 3.5 :(

can;t scroll with the touchpad anymore in Windows 7 tho :'(

Wow, I was really excited that the 1320 actually came with 2 speakers. Thats kind of lame; the website clearly states that the computer has 2 speakers. Oh well. :(
