Dell Latitude 13 announced

I usually lurk in the Lenovo forums. Thought I'd post this for you Dell people. Pretty good looking, the Vostro V13 too for that matter.

Looks like a vostro v13. I can't wait to see the specs and price on these.

 

Ok, so what's the difference between this and the V13?

 

This comes with IT system administration features, like TPM, (Trusted Platform Module) Citrix, OpenManage support, and selected models have Virtualization support (Perhaps a thin client, perhaps just meaning the processor inside supports VT???-who knows...)

 

What about hardware, would that be the same?

 

Hardware should probably be the same (CULV CPU's) doesn't look like there are any added ports, etc. Full specs havent been given yet.

 

That is a hot notebook...

Full breakdown to specs, including battery life? Now! I hope it has a docking connector...

 

I don't get one thing... If it is similar to the vostro v13 in terms of hardware, it will come with 13.3" 1366 x 768

If it is a 13.3" display (not 13.1"), why not 1280x800 like vostro 1320?

 

I am thinking it must be a mistake. The screen size should be the same as the Vostro V13 otherwise this would be a new chasis and a whole new laptop. Just from looking at the pic it seems like this Latitude is very similar to the Vostro.

 

So, where is it? It was annonced a couple of weeks ago that it will be released in a couple of weeks?
