This is definitely edited. Honestly Dell doesn't release a complete new series Latitude notebooks for at least 3+ years or so. I've owned the Dell Latitude D800/ D810 and they haven't changed their D Series notebooks since 2004. It wasn't until sometime in August of 2008 they changed their Latitude line to the E Series. Dell will do minor updates to their E Series notebooks. So the person who started this thread can't fool anyone on this forum or us Dell geeks. Nice Try

Just curious, where does the Latitude X200, X300 and X1 fit into your logic?

I tested the second link. I ran the file inside Linux and it seems to be something from Dell. It's an interactive flash video promo of the Latitude Z. I doubt it contains a virus because the installer looks like something from Dell. If this is in fact a virus, then there has been a LOT of effort put into this. You can explore 4 main features:

    Capture: Business Card Reader
EdgeTouch(tm): Apparently, the space on the right of the screen is touch sensitive and can be configured. It looks like you can control media (play, stop, next, volume, etc..), launch apps, and scroll using the right side of the screen.
    FaceAware(tm): Face Recognition login
Gestures: Multitouch Touchpad (picture rotation, picture zoom, two finger scrolling)

I've included some screenshots. I can also upload just the flash file if anyone wants.

It's weird how all these new users are signing up and posting in this thread though. Maybe Dell encouraged viral marketing?

Edit: I just watched the intro again and it seems like the ethernet port is located on the hinge of the laptop on a 45 degree angle.
