Latitude E4300 first impressions

    I believe that's 1.6 kg with 3 cell.

    I'd say have a look at Sony Z. 1.5kg real world weight including 6 cell.

    It's funny, dell's discount through my school was 12% last week, now it's down to 7% for the e4300! The Sony Z comes out to the same price as the dell e4300 but without the 3 year warranty and protection plan for me.

    Looks like i'm sticking with the x200 and buying that tonight. If i get that along with a 22" monitor it'll still be cheaper!

    Dell priced themselves out of the market, I assume they'll cut prices soon and are just trying to cash in on companies and early adopters.

    Pretty basic config...but its really quick!!!

    Hi PhilFlow,

    I'm going to buy something a tad bigger. Perhaps an e6500, or one of the new Macbook Pros which should be announced on the 14th, or a Lenovo T500 if I can get over that gawdawful off-center screen. :) I just realized an ultra-portable as a primary computer is a bit of a compromise...
