With XP / vista, one recent version of the webcam driver can cause problems with suspend / hibernation. That bug could carry over to W7.

Try disabling the webcam (if you have it). If that does fix the problem try an older driver.

I'm more a fan of the Regal Red, but the Regetta Blue does look a ton more shiny. The red is more like a maroon, very manly haha.

Yeah, i spent a whole day deciding between red and blue. Red is a bit darker and classier, blue is offensively bright and cheerful :) I worried the red might be a bit more pink-ish in real life.

All I need is some blue fractal art on the desktop background, ramp the WXGA+ up to 100% and the psycho colour scheme is complete!

Got my E6400 today, and it's totally awesome :). Definitely one of the sexiest notebooks I've seen (second to the Macbooks). No dead pixels and the keyboard is amazing. Couldn't be happier!

Had the same issue. Check your event logs.

For me it was the Smart Card service that caused the problem.
I disabled the Smart Card Service to fix it.

    hope that helps.

I have an issue with the Suspend. When I close the lid, it does go into Suspend fine and the "Power LED" on the lid does blink slowly. But after awhile (not sure how long) the PC drops out of suspend by itself. I tried searching the forum but all point to threads with people having issues trying to get the notebook into Suspend and not staying Suspend(ed).

I'm currently running Windows 7 - 64bit. All default(MS) drivers except for the touchpad and Bt drivers. This issue happened previously also when I was running Vista 32 bit. That time it was in my backpack and by the time I discovered it was not suspended(about 1 to 2 hours), the notebook was extremely hot!

    Anyone come across this?
