I think any of the 13MHz tags, rather than the 125kHz tags.

I haven't got my E6500 yet, so don't know what software it comes with or might work with, I'm hoping the RFID chipset will be a bit more open than the GemCore smartcard reader on my D800, I did get some software to recognise bank chip'n'pin cards etc, but never went as far as using it for logging on.

Is anyone else experiencing little cracks in their sound? I'm hearing little ticks, even with headphones on. Also there's much more noise then for example on my mp3 player. Is this normal? Im using the IDT (6.10.0.6033) driver.

Hmmm...710m speaker problem again? Dell just doesn't learn :D...I'll have to look at the motherboard...I bet they tied the speaker main power with the hard drive main power like they did in the 700m and 710m.

    We'll see.

I ordered about midday on the 4th. DHL estimates that it should be here on the 9th. So basically 5 days from order to delivery if everything goes as expected.

    Hello everyone,

I am looking to purchase a Dell E6400 in the near future, but I had a couple of questions. I am curious to know if the battery slice has a docking connector on the bottom? Also does anyone know the weight and thickness of the slice?

I need extensive battery life as I will be using this in the field and from the sofa for extended periods of time. I currently have a D620 w/ a 9 cell and a media bay battery. I am very pleased with the D620, and to be honest there is no real reason to upgrade. The E6400 just seems so appealing. I could always give the D620 to a needy family member to help justify my purchase to both myself and my girlfriend. TIA ; p
