Has anyone got the contactless smartcard reader to work in Vista x64? It doesn't recognize mine anymore. (It did in XP Pro)

It's a very nice setup. Just one note on the processor selection, do you think there is much of a difference between the 9400 and 9500 processors? You could save some money by sticking with the 9400.

I actually got a quote for it and I could save $64 by going with the T9400, but I sort of lean on the fact that the P9500 will use less juice, run cooler, but what do you all think?

I would keep that P9500. Not for the power, but it consumes 25w vs 35w for the T9400.

Ah, I did not realize that the 9500 uses less juice. That can go a ways when striving to stretch the battery life.

The memory you selected is the 2 GB option, which if you left it at the 1 GB option and bought an extra GB stick from elsewhere (like www.newegg.com) only costs about $25 versus Dell's $40 charge for it.

I was gonna do that, but the rep I'm dealing with said this....

"This deal comes with 2GB standard…if I knock it down to 1gb, you lose some of the instant savings."

Believe me, I'd really rather do it myself, but I dunno what "savings" I'm getting by getting it.
