    Hi, All!

I have a small question. What kind of case (plastic or magnium) have a Dell Latitude E6500 with BLUE and RED colors of case?

I saw the dark blue laptop at the friend and it seemed to me that it completely plastic. Whether so it?

    Thanks!

I can't specifically comment on the E6500 but I would expect it to be the same as my red E4300 which has a red paint finish on the same metal as used on the black models.

From what I've seen on an E4200, the red simply coats the standard metal used on the lid (and for the chassis). With the black model, the chassis is painted black anyway (instead of blue/red) and the lid has the brushed metal look painted on as well. I'm guessing it's all paint on metal for the lid and chassis (not palmrest).
It wouldn't make much business sense to forge chasses out of metal and plastic, right? :)
