...this is so weird. Thank you so much for your help in advance :D
Okay, I opened up the sound recorder program and the beeping sound magically disappears as if it's just toying with me.

My experience with onboard sound card (whatever the sound card manufacture) on my custom built PC is that.. ok well they suck abysmally in term of sound quality and have heavy static and interference (which we all know), but other than that is that they, on rare occasion, act up and a certain changing a settings fixes it. Lesson in life, in desktop computer, ALWAYS get a dedicated sound card if you listen to music with the computer (Windows sounds and Youtube-like video's exclusively, does not count). Of course, I say desktop, as it's not convenient for a laptop, and if you do, well it eats your battery life. Would be cool to have a switchable sound card, on a per application basis. One can only dream.

I have the same issue with my bay HD, if i take it out and put in my dvd drive and put my hdd back in it will now show up but will show up in intel sata program. Go to computer management, drives, right click on the drive (one that has no letter assigned), then change click change letter and path, then click the add button and ok.

This should mapp it...sad thing is you have to do this every time you take it out and put something else in its place.

It's probably a call only order. Dell sometimes does that.

Ok, i don't really get you. You plugged in your HD to DVD sata port? Or did you just remove DVD and plugged in HD to eSATA port? Either way nothing seems to work. I saw on forums people have similar eSATA problems with other dell notebooks. I'll contact dell support and see what they'll recommend.

Anyone has instructions on physically installing the bluetooth 375 module?. I've looked everywhere, can't find instructions. I took apart the back cover and can't seem to find a slot to install it either.
