Knock on wood - no problems here to speak off.
Pretty happy with everything actually - for a change.

My new M4400 arrived with A18 installed. Seems like it's ok, but yeah, the fan is pretty noticeable most of the time. It's on now, and the CPU is only at 38C.

Yup, I installed A19 today hoping it would solve the loud fan issue that I had with A18 but the CPU temps are around 37-40 C and the GPU (for some reason), between 55 and 60 and the fan is running the whole time.
The heatsink and the fan are clean, and I made sure the heat sink is screwed down properly. It is very annoying and it definitely didn't used to run as much as it does now.
I would like to try reverting back to A16 but the download page didn't list the old ones anymore. Any ideas where I can download it, and is it actually possible to revert to an older BIOS? Which BIOS would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Thanks for the overwhelming number of replies! ;)

In the mean time I found the old BIOS versions on the Dell site using google and found out that yes one can downgrade to an older OS. I now have the A14 BIOS version and the noisy fan issues have gone. The GPU heats up to 63 degrees before then fan kicks in instead of in the early 50's. I have not noticed any other issues with this BIOS so far.

Oops...sorry, missed that ;) This is a good link to use for all Dell BIOS versions in the future
    http://ftp1.us.dell.com/bios/

About the fan running too often. I had that with one of the older versions where the limit was set a bit too low but with A18 and A19 they hardly kick in, only during a decent load on the CPU or GPU.
