    Hey,

When I put my computer to sleep, sometimes my screen goes back and continues to run instead of shutting down.

I've got bios version A09 and nvidia drivers 195.62

    Anyone else have similar problems?

What OS are you running? A problem that is obscure like that is usually hinting that an OS reinstall would be a good idea.

I'm using windows 7 pro. I just downloaded a hot fix from the MS site which supposedly fixes sleep hangs due to intense programs in the background.

Did the fix help? Was the copy of Windows 7 a fresh install or an upgrade?

The copy of Win 7 was fresh. The problem seems to happen randomly once in awhile. If I can go the next two weeks without having the problem, I think it will be safe to say that the hot fix worked.

So far it's seems to be fine. I've got all my heavy duty apps running (proE, Photoshop, matlab, texcenter, vmware workstation, all the MS office programs, labview, 12 firefox windows, 12 chrome windows, thunder bird, and a few others)

Here's a link to the hot fix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977307
