Currently the extra NEC cards only offer 2 USB 3.0 ports.
The other USB 2.0 ports come from the motherboard.

They are also now listed in the Support - Manuals - Select Product By Model list. It wasn't shown when I checked last week. Unfortunately it then doesn't show any manuals.

The Dell Precision M4600/M6600 Mobile Workstation Setup And Features Information page confirms a few things.

Looks like both machines have 4 RAM slots if you get the quad core. Max RAM for both machines is 32gb.

The Video Data Bus being "Internal Video" seems to confirm Optimus.

We now know the graphics cards for both machines as well.

    M4600
    • AMD FirePro M5950 Mobility Pro Graphics with 1GB GDDR5
    • NVIDIA Quadro 1000M with 2 GB GDDR3
    • NVIDIA Quadro 2000M with 2 GB GDDR3

    M6600
    • AMD FirePro M8900 Mobility Pro Graphics with 2 GB GDDR5
    • NVIDIA Quadro 3000M with 2 GB GDDR5
    • NVIDIA Quadro 4000M with 2 GB GDDR5
    • NVIDIA Quadro 5010M with 4GB GDDR5

    Hi Guys,

Quick question - If I want a native 1600x900 (HD+) resolution (the fonts are too small at 1920x) - am i better off just ordering the m4500 now?

I could wait for the M4600 - but it doesn't seem to have HD+, and I would assume running a Full HD at 1600x is going to look poor?

    Any ideas/advice?
