I see another one like me :) I would like to game as well on my notebook without buying a gaming rig.

The firepro m8900 should be much much stronger then the quadro 2000 (nearly double as strong I would guess). That one should be very near to the alienware mx17-R3 with 6970 in graphic power. With a professional look.

But if there are no severe optimus problems, then the lenovo w520 is a very good work/gaming combo. And the m6600 with m8900 firepro should cost much more.

Those panels will be available from any number of suppliers. HP Dell Lenovo all buy these panels from a small handfull of suppliers. AOU, LG, HannMei. These suppiers sell to anybody. In time these panels will appear it won't be that long. If HP is charging $500 for this screen that means the screen cost less that $100 in bulk maybe less. Bulk prices on 15.6 FHD panels is $40-50 retail works out to be about $140.

The point is they will be available aftermarket they won't cost anything near as much as what HP is charging within a year there will be many more on the market and one or two will be exceptional. Those you buy

:( , just noticed that the M4600 doesn't have multitouch for FHD.

Does anyone know if the non-IPS FHD display is RGB as well for the 4600?

Is the 9 cell battery going to fit cleanly or stick out of the box?

The non-IPS FHD panel is not RGB, it is white LED.
