Are we good to order now? Or shall we wait until the 10th?

Does anyone know if the 9-cell battery sticks out for the m4600?

I got a quote back from our Dell rep and hope to have an order for a M4600 in by the end of the day. I think you are good to go for ordering. I know some options, especially some high end ones for the M6600, are not yet available.

Not in the market for M6600's, but reviewing the M4600 specs makes me wonder "where's the beef"?

I spec'ed mine online, then called Dell. The Dell rep saved me $150. Not huge, but I'll take it.

and free shipping , so another $69.00

That is about the same as the quote I got.

@phantomAI: Havoctex confirmed that the batteries will not stick out. They are off-center and in the front.

joat_mon - what options for the M6600 are missing? Any specifics? I just placed an order so I'm wondering what I've missed out on.

    These puppies aren't cheap.

Do you think prices will drop significantly in the near future?
