Someone can correct if I am wrong but I think that the M6600 does not yet have the IPS screen nor the Quadro 5010M but that these will become available in future.

    Lol, don't hold your breath.

As you can see from my post in this thread, Dell advertised the RGB LED display for the M4500 from day one. To my knowledge, it was never possible to order one. Even today, it is still advertised on their web site.

Does anyone know what the battery life of the M4600 is like? Also, what exactly are the advantages of the IPS screen? I was thinking of trying it out, but $370 over the standard 1920x1080 is a little much...

I'm gonna wait until the rumored IPS and 5010M become available.

Is the +IPS worth waiting for? A quick google doesn't really explain the benefits.

I noticed that if you configure an M6600 the E-Port Replicator Plus is an option you can select for the docking station.

The compatiblity tab for that docking station says it is compatible with the M6400 and M6500. I assume it will be updated to say it is compatible with the M6600.

On the other hand, if you configure an M4600 there are no docking stations available. Will there be a new docking station for the M4600? I am considering an M4600 but need a docking station that will allow it to drive two DVI-D monitors.

Sorry about that question, I'm Confused I don't know what to take, a FirePro M8900 or Quadro 3000M for design intensive CAD and DCC, is that the FirePro is compatible with "Mental Ray" or just the Quadro?
