    Awesome!

Don't think so, max is 5 minutes. Press [Fn] (to relight) won't intrude into your running programs.

I've wondered about this, whether there is an .ini file or registry change to alter this limitation.

If you go looking and find anything out - let us know please.

    :)

Well, it looks like the 210W AC adapter has failed. I got the problem to act up again with it eariler today, then tried the 240W adapter and it was fine as usual. So I tried the 210W again and the blue LED doesn't come on anymore, doesn't show its charging on the laptop either. I guess that was it. I'm going to see if i can claim warranty on it.

    That's solid empirical evidence.

Definitely sounds like a bad adapter, i don't know what is the warranty on it though, sometimes the warranty on the battery and PSU are shorter than the one on the laptop.

I need to ask for help:

I'm currently PM'ing with Tenchi trying to shrink a 320Gb HDD partition down to at least 119Gb.
Used space on the partition is around 34Gb.
The proposed shrink value offered is around 171Gb. pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys have been disabled.
I realize a value can be pushed but there's no guarantee that some important file might not get killed.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks.

There could be system restore points preventing further shrinking, also temporary files.

    I have three potential solutions.
1: Don't touch anything and defragment the drive r, if it can be moved, the data should be consolidated together on the drive (i think).
2: Clean the temporary files, could be a temp file there.
3: Delete the system restore points.

Why does upgrading to the latest A12 Bios seems to be downgrading things? Some version numbers in the list are lower? (see pic below)

tijo, Excellent Idea! - I forgot all about the restore points, I don't use them.
I'll let you know how that goes.

Unfortunately I was only given 30 days of warranty from the place I bought it from. Whats funny is today is day 32. I think I will crack it open this weekend or this week and find out what went bad inside. It should be no problem for me figuring it out. I used to repair cell phones back in the day, and my trusty fluke meter should help me out.

You probably already know this, but be very careful and make sure the adapter had enough time unplugged so that there is no residual charge.
