As described in my post linked above, you only need to change the right side of a string to match whatever the GPU shows up as in your system (the left side, the stuff inside of % symbols, does not need to be changed).

    Im ok with this.
I just wonder if i have to change Gpu ID from lines ending by 153E1028 like this one.

    %NVIDIA_DEV.0FFB.153E.1028% = Section048, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0FFB&SUBSYS_153E1028
    0FFB into 13F9 (m4000m)

Or changing device ID from lines with good GPU ID like those ones

    %NVIDIA_DEV.13F9.06DA.1028% = Section170, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13F9&SUBSYS_06DA1028
    %NVIDIA_DEV.13F9.16DA.1028% = Section174, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13F9&SUBSYS_16DA1028

    06DA1028 & 16DA1028 into 153E1028 (my device m6700)

I think the latter is what you want. You want to find a Quadro M4000M line from the Precision 7710 and change the "laptop model" part of the ID to reflect your Precision M6700. (Note that the "1"/"0" indicator for Optimus on/off is reversed between the M6700 and 7710.)

Ok i suppose that i dont have to change both model 06da must be 7710 and 16da 7730 but just one of them.

    Resuming i will change this

    %NVIDIA_DEV.13F9.06DA.1028% = Section170, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13F9&SUBSYS_06DA1028

    into this

    %NVIDIA_DEV.13F9.06DA.1028% = Section170, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13F9&SUBSYS_153E1028

For my curiosity let's say i add a new line instead of modify existing one does it will work too?

Yes, adding a new line would be fine, but it's not necessary since you will never install this driver on a Precision 7710. I've found find-and-replace easier to automate than adding a new line so that's what I do.

Last question for my curiosity againt and i will go to practice. I like to understand the whole principel and know what i am doing exactly.

Can i do the replacement by changing the actual driver inf file > change the card or i have to change card > download a new driver > unzip it > change the strings before install it?
More simple can i just change the card and go with the actual system?

I suppose that i have to install a new one to build and validate the link between the system and the gpu in various system files and registry.

This is what you have to do. Also, because changing the INF file breaks the signature, you will have to do something to address that before you can install it. (Three options for this, also discussed in the post that I linked above.)
