They look like kids laptops. Horrible design all the way down to the orange accent. What a bad idea...

Ya I completely agree with the orange trim, it is horrible. I hoped the initial leaked photos were fake...but alas I was wrong. Until Dell changes their Latitude line, I am sticking with ThinkPad or buying older Latitudes.

You can't find a decent spec E6410 anywhere, except ebay...... this new design is really cheap and not professional. It looks like my 12 year old daughters laptop!

Look at this guy Dell sent him a 6320 to replace a defective 6410, and he is selling it on ebay just because of the horrible look and design!

I had to put something in there instead of the other post I had written.

I deleted the first post because you were not trolling. You were expressing your opinion. Its your thread. If I post my opinions or ask for you to back up statements about why the new E series is better suited for 12 year old daughters than professionals, then I am trolling your thread.

I do hope you have better luck with Lenovo customer service than we had.

I have to agree with the anti-xx20 opinions here, the loss of 16:10 screen, prosumer look (several people I know expressed the same sentiment) and apparently sub par build quality (not sure if this has been resolved in current production models). I've switched to recommending Thinkpad T420 models until Dell comes out with something that looks more professional and doesn't seem like a step backwards compared to the xx10 models.

Unfortunately we probably won't ever see the return of 16:10 monitors but at least the new models have the same vertical res, so it's not entirely bad.

On the plus side, the latest generation of Precisions look great.

Well, if by latest Precisions you refer to MX600, I'd say they look pretty much the same as M6400/M6500 (which is a good thing and an improvement to M4500 looks).

The Latitudes are dreadful, though. Not only they look cheap and tacky (reminds me somewhat of the previous generation of HP Pavillions), the design looks obsolete to me, at least the insides when looked from the above (looks like something from 10 years ago). What were they thinking?? I like the design of the new HPs, though, both Probook and Elitebook series.
