    What is the speed of your V13 memory module(s): 2GB or 4GB; in the bios information mine is at 800Mhz. In the specs when I bought the V13 is was supposed to be at 1066MHZ. The memory module is a 2GB Hynnix PC3 8500s module

    Looking to get this laptop, but I'm wondering what the keyboard is like. I heard someone on Dell's site claim it was klikity klackity, but does that mean it is loud, or does it have a good mechanical feel, unlike the many mushy laptop keyboards I've used?

    because FSB is 800MHz, so memory module is forced to run at 800MHz, although its default frequency is 1066MHz. Anyway, DDR3 1066MHz running at 800MHz is more power-efficient than DDR2 800MHz.

    According to a couple (pre)reviews, the keyboard is said to be similar to the XPS 13/16 models (which, in my experience are quite good).

    Just got an email saying mine just shipped! I only ordered it on Monday so that's quite something!

    me too, just got the same email 2mins ago, I ordered mine on Tuesday morning. But order status on dell site is still in production.

    Same here, usually takes 24 hours to show up there. My last 3 shipments did the same thing (and took approx. 4 days to get to me).

    I'll be posting a lengthy review once I get it.

    1 - Yes, their business support is much better than consumer line

    2 - Modern batteries aren't affected by being left plugged in.

    Hi guys, this is regarding the SIM card.

    sorry but I am a little confused after reading the previous postings on the SIM card.

    I am an existing mobile broadband user. At the moment im using the HSDPA modem to get connected.

    My questions are:-

    1) Does the Vostro V13 has got built-in HSPDA modem ?

    2) If yes, do I need to remove the cover and install the SIM card inside the slot ? Or, I can just put my SIM card inside the provided slot for 5-in-1 card reader or 34 mm ExpressCard.
