How much RAM are you guys seeing on your V13 if you have 4gb? Mine is showing 2.93, which seems a bit low in my experience, even for 32bit. My old Dell e1405, which I upgraded to 4gb, addressed 3.3gb of RAM in the 32 bit operating system.

I would have to guess afterward, but I don't know how to find out. I'm seeing this under the system information page, where it lists installed memory: 4.00 GB (2.93 GB usable). In this same spot on my old Dell, it listed 3.3 GB.

    I just replaced the 320gb 7200rpm drive in my V13 with the Intel X25-V 40GB SSD.. I re-installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit from scratch after doing so. I have a v13 with the Core 2 Duo U7300 w/ 4GB RAM.

    - installation was a breeze - literally 10 minutes to install the drive, it was instantly recognized by the V13. no issues installing the OS.

    - speed is definitely improved. Windows boots and recovers from sleep/hibernation in record time.

    - complete silence, now that the spinning hard drive is gone, i can't hear ANYTHING from this system, not even the fan.

    - heat is down. I use the v13 on my lap and it definitely produces less heat with the SSD

I haven't had the SSD installed for long enough to determine if the battery life is better.. from what I've heard, SSD's don't truly improve battery life, but we'll see.

    It was worth the $120.

Can someone with one take some more pictures? I'd like to see some of the keyboard close up and as many more as you can take. Just upload them to flickr or something.

    Please and Thank You!
