    The keyboard:

It looks like there are some holes where a screw could go but there is no screw present.

Also, some shots of the lattice if you want to compare clips positions:

You could probably use your existing lattice but you would have to break off the piece between the Enter key and backslash key.

So Dell parts needs a service tag to look anything up. Any chance you could post or pm me your service tag to give them as a reference? Yours is backlit right?

I will send the service tag via PM. I do have the backlit keyboard.
If they send you back an invoice with the part number on it or something, post back with that... It should be possible to order a part just based on the part number (which for some reason is different in their system than the DP/N actually labeled on the parts).

I know you can get them to find random parts. I bought a CPU heatsink for my M6700 from them that was for the "extreme" version of the CPU which my system didn't have (additional heat pipe). That was a few years back though.

Yea, part number should work too, but then you'd have to take out your keyboard :)

Does anyone know if the 7730 still utilize a mxm for gpu or its soldered on?

I want to see a picture of the motherboard if possible , where the gpu slot is located at.

No. It is not like earlier 17" Precisions, which used MXM cards. The Precision 7530/7730 have GPUs separate from the motherboard, but they are a proprietary form factor ("DGFF") and not MXM.
