Theres been a bunch, mostly on driver issues. I also seem to freeze my computer (even the power/hd/other lights and keyboard/mouse) a lot. Lol...

Thats because it is. On the M4400, you only have to remove on master screw which is spring loaded. After you remove it, the bottom has to slid out towards the front of the computer for it to come off (so its well connected).

Me neither...played a couple of hours of Crysis on 1920x1200 native res, everything on medium and it was fine.

Hi all, among the ppl that have the WXGA+LED screen, did any of you have any big problems with it, that demanded replacing?
Are the colours and such ok? Is it comfortable to work with it for several straight hours?

And a last thing do the ppl who own it would recommend the M4400 as a solid machine (quality and construction-wise) capable of doing the work it is supposed to be? (act as a decent workstation that is)
    Tnx!

    (I am obviously considering buying a M4400! : ) )

    P.S.
Tnx I♥RAM for the review, excellent pics!!!

    P.S.2
I posted the same question in the M4400's owner lounge :)

Okay just tested 3dmark06 on xp pro 32bit, here it is:

+161 points from my vista 64bit score or a +2.7465% difference. Seems much better than the 8600M GT cards. Stock Dell drivers.

RAM, I noticed you mentioned that you M4400 has been freezing a lot! Have you managed to figure out why? We just got 3 new M4400s, 8gb RAM with Vista 64 and they are hard-freezing 3 or 4 times per day. No warning, no errors, nothing in event viewer, just a hard lock that requires a power cycle. We're about to send them back to Dell because it's seriously affecting our productivity, we're modeling virtual server environments and we can't have the systems locking up halfway through a VM build. Any help would be appreciated....we've done all the Dell diagnostics, reinstalled Vista both from the recovery partition and fresh from the DVD and it still happens. Driving me nuts!!!

I have not figured out why, but it's a -very- shocking freeze...or more of a full system lock-up. It's even crazier when typing a document, since you can type paragraphs and it suddenly locks, all work is lost. I'm trying to figure out why it happens, event viewer doesn't help me at all. No warnings, no errors, and yes it does require a hard-boot. Sometimes it happens 3-4 times in 10 minutes. This is a very very weird problem, I hope it's not defective motherboards? You seem to have more weight on this than I do, owning 3 M4400s. Please keep my updated with what Dell says.
