I just purchased an Intel 310 PCIe mSATA SSD 80 GB.
    I got a Dell Precision M4500, i7 Q720 quad core running Windows Pro 64bit.

I have no clue how to go about installing this SSD. :(
Looking for step by step instructions for moving/installing the OS to the SSD and cleaning up OS from the harddrive.
    Thanks in advance.

    -E101G.

BTW: I purchased 2 of these SSDs by mistake. These are out of stock and are not available readily. Anyone want to buy the second unit? Ping me. Willing to sell it at cost.

as far as i know, you just slot it into the WWAN slot. and then enable it in the BIOS. if you open up the base, you'll see a slot clearly labeled WWAN

you'll have to reinstall windows from scratch

When you take the bottom door off your M4500 the mini SSD card fits in the top left full slot, just above the optical drive.

I have a M4600 and put a 310 SSD it in. I just put it in the slot labeled WWAN and then enabled it in BIOS. What you have to do is put it in the boot order above your mechanical hard drive. On this notebook (M4600), I had to change the sata mode from Raid On to AHCI in order to actually let the SSD boot.
