    Hi all,

Does anyone know how to disassemble the screen on a Dell Precision M4600 or can anyone point me in the direction of a service manual?

There's somthing rattling around in mine I'd like to remove!

    TIA

I'm not positive, but there's 2 circles to the bottom left and bottom right of the screen; there's probably screws hidden behind them.

Thanks ksna. You are quite right. I have removed the sticky plastic covers and the screws behind but the screen is refusing to come apart.

    Any other ideas?

Rather than pulling the back screen out/up, have you tried sliding it right or left after removing the screws? Could you also call up Dell support? Incase this would be voiding your warranty.

You may want to take a look at the service manual for the M4500. I have not yet found this for the new models.
