    I have the A07 runs great, I also installed the newest IDT audio amazing sound card! I want to know about the newest precision m6500 coming out what will the configurations be? I need a new blu ray laptop also.

    im using win7 64bit.. my proc speedstep wont work on a07, and i try to a05 it work well.

    the max can go a07 bios is 266fsb X6 even i full load the cpu it wont change. :(

    and i try flash to old a05 bios it work well even can boost to 266 X10.5 :confused:

    I don't believe Dell has made any announcements about the Precision M6500, nor have I seen/heard any rumors regarding it.

    SiliconAddict- *Counts the days until Dell drops the Core i7 into the M6400*

    When you consider that the midrange processor at 1.7Ghz at almost half the price of the Core 2 Quad @ 2.53Ghz is benchmarking right alongside it with substantially less heat...I think its a foregone conclusion that Dell will be updating the M6400. The question is when. Later this fall? Spring? Hmmm
    Airblazer- They're already testing it (M6500)..
    Normally it's about 3 months later when released to customers so I reckon either just before or after xmas.
    Nope...i7/i5 (LGS1366/1156) are a different socket to the Core 2 (LGA775) so you'd have to upgrade to the M6500..

    Ok I received my m6400, love it. I installed windows 7 but are missing some drivers, is there a guide for windows 7 install?
