Just ordered this laptop, do I need to do a fresh format when I get it to get rid of the junk in it or does it come lean?

The Latitudes come lean. You'll see a Precision soon. I would use it for a while first to become familiar with it and anything not working from Dell.

From the 2 Dells I purchased recently I never bothered with a fresh OS reinstall because there wasn't a need, though I did upgrade both drives anyway.
