    In case any of you are anxiously awaiting for the M6600 with IPS display: I spoke to a Dell rep this morning and they said most likely within the first week of October. Last I had heard prior to that was near the end of September. Cross your fingers!

    Talked with a well informed Dell rep and asked about the IPS availability. He said it would be close to the very end of October. He has always been right about this stuff before.

    That's frustrating. Dell Mano G subtly confirmed the end of September. I'm still hoping for the first week of October but I imagine I will be disappointed as usual. I've been impatiently waiting ever since the article in anandtech stated that the M6600's IPS would be available shortly after launch. That was roughly 6 months ago... HP has had a 17" IPS for months now. I hope they launch it soon or at least give us a date.
