So someone I know has an M90 with a busted FX1500. Baking the GPU has pretty much been unsuccessful, and we're looking to replace the card with the cheapest something that'll work.

There are ATI X300s for the Inspiron 9300 that're going for around $70. This price is acceptable. After looking real hard at the FX1500 and pictures of said X300, I'm 99% sure that the physical interface is the same.

I'm worried that there might be some BIOS incompatibility with the M90. Is that a valid concern? Is there any reason one of these X300s won't work in the M90?
