As many have discovered Precision ON Reader is not worth the disk space it uses. With an SSD it takes almost as long to boot into it as it does to bring up Win 7, plus ALL it can do is browse email that has already been exported. Without Wifi and browser support it is basically worthless.

And, Dell won't sell Precision ON Flash if you already have an SSD and a hard drive.

So, I have a dual boot with Ubuntu 10.04. From the point where I get the dual boot menu it takes less than 20 seconds to be completely up in Ubuntu.

It would be nice to be able to reprogram the "ON" button to directly boot Ubuntu and let the standard power button boot directly to Win 7.

Anyone have any ideas how to do so? There does not seem to be anything in the Bios about this button, though that would be the logical place for it to be set.

    Thanks.
