Did you try installing the 32bit drivers?

psst... try to install the 32bit drivers for the Realtek LAN. I got mine running just like that hahaha! You could install Realtek high-def audio on your x64 with the 32-bit drivers from Dell too :)

ok, realtek 32-bit derivers work on vista 64-bit.
but i need a lot of other drivers, like toutchpad, sound and etc.
how can i view sound card or touchpad name, in that case i can find drivers with coreect name.

p.s. can someone give link to geforce 8400gs drivers ? because i download two drivers for it, and i get error that it now that driver i need..

1510 should be using the same Alps touchpad as my 1310. Search for the Alps touchpad drivers for the Studio line. Dell released a new version of the driver not long ago. Alternative, you may update your touchpad with Synaptics drivers through Windows Update.

Sound wise, what is your chipset? Mine is Advance HD and i think i installed the 32-bit drivers.

Geforce 8400GS, you may get the drivers off Nvidia's site. I got the drivers for my X3100 from Intel and it is a version higher than the Dell release.

Ok...i was in the same situation you were in a while back.

To get the drivers you need, go to the dell page and look up the XPS 1330 and select 64-bit drivers. A lot of the drivers on there will work for your laptop. You can select the driver then click on the compatibility tab and see if your model is listed and it will list 32 and 64 bit Vista and Xp and list all the models the driver works with.
Start with the intel Chipset driver, then install the wireless card driver and do an automatic update. Then install the touchpad driver and a few others here and there. That should get you in the right direction. Let me know if you need more help (you can PM me).

No Vostro would be listed though, as far as I've seen, so I guess you have to take it on faith. When the heck is Dell going to offer 64-bit on Vostro?

The video driver is tricky. I think the middle one here (for the XPS 1330, which can have the 8400M GS) is appropriate for the 1510.

For my 1710, with a 8600M GS, I'm tossed between the first and third one, which have slightly different version numbers but are both the "initial release" (and they're both for the XPS 1530). The middle one has a totally different version number (more nVidia-style) but also claims support for the 8600M. Any advice? I assume when they say "8600M" they mean GS or GT.

I also have to track down the right driver for "O2Micro Integrated MS/xD/SM Controller." Fun stuff, thanks Dell. I've already done the fingerprint reader.
