    Quadro comes with X-bracket which fit for Precision or HP Zbook laptop.
    If you want to install this for ALIENWARE, You need to exchange with Alienware's X-bracket.

    It's the other way around - I have a Dell M6700 with K4000M, but got a 980M for Alienware with different screw holes on the bracket.

    Anyway, I got it removed in the end. I did panic as the bracket on the K4000M wouldn't budge at all at first (unlike the Alienware one), but after I used the hair dryer to heat up the bracket it loosened up slowly so I managed to pry it off eventually.
