    Actually, I confirmed with Dell that the resolution is actually 1600x900. The information in the configurator is a typo. I can actually give you the name and email of the Dell small business sales rep I corresponded with if you want to independently confirm this.

    i actually have the 14" though i have a friend that has the 17" and the build quality is the same.
