    call again and speak with someone else. tell them it was like that in the box. they will send you a replacement

    hi=)

    works fine with only the touchpad drivers from dell...

    but -

    i do get occasional audio dropouts when streaming audio from the internet.

    anybody have a solution?

    If occasionally, perhaps the source is getting throttled somewhere upstream of your PC.
