I upgraded (from A04) a couple of days ago. It was the fastest and easiest BIOS upgrade I've ever done.

The A05 upgrade made my first boot longer, but after that everything's the same. Except the annoying occasional audio glitches are completely gone. Happy happy, joy joy!

I have this CPU in my E6410, and it's warm, I would say very warm at times. If you're sensitive to this, it will probably be uncomfortable.

Can anyone with i7-620m post their coretemp (a free program, google it) temperatures at idle and at load?

I just want to compare it to the i5's. Thanks!

I just posted up on OCZ forums about the problem and one of the tech's responded saying that it is a known problem with the Sandforce controller and that they have contacted Sandforce in regards to the matter and do not have a solution as of yet and that it is a problem even for people not using Deep Freeze.

My e6410 arrived. First boot got win7x64-ultimate installed, not I'm just playing with it in the e-port. Aside from an odd wireless issue which I think is actually my router's fault since another laptop does it too, I love this thing. Outlet or not, it looks perfect.

Unless they have already appeared on ebay then you will have to order from Dell parts.

Strange: I've had no issues with A05. Check Event Viewer. It should reveal whatever is waking the computer. Also look at the wake options in the BIOS.

Event: I hibernate my latop, charger still plug and after a few hours, my laptop auto turn on.

I chat, remote control with Dell support. After 1.5 hours they said my motherboard is error and suggest me to replace the new one.
PS: I checked the wake on BIOS, nothing wrong.
