Don't see why you couldn't. The WWAN antenna would probably work just fine, as the frequencies that are used for HDTV are fairly similar in wavelength to those used for cell (ie: 3G) signals.

I just noticed that the E6410 now ships with DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM's. Has anything changed inside ? If I were to add more ram to my laptop would it be worthwhile to install 1333 Mhz ram or do I stick with the 1066 Mhz my system came with ?

It's usually a good idea to install matching RAM. You might find 1333 easier and cheaper to source, so you could move to all 1333 RAM. Which may be the same rationale used by Dell... even thought it looks like the E6410 build/chipset is still the same and still runs DDR3 at 1066.

That said, you may also be able to add 1333 to your existing 1066 (is it 1066?) and run all at 1066 without incident.

However, the system will only run at 1066MHz. One needs a quad core CPU to have a faster memory controller. I suspect that Dell is using 1333MHz to simplify its inventory since the cost difference is negligible.

Having horrible problems with DPC latency results spiking to like 60 000us. Looks to be the Nvidia Drivers causing the problems. What should I be expecting with the DPC results? Maybe Im knit picking too much..

Edit: Looks like it was the Nvidia Drivers. Installed the Latest Dell drivers and now its a constant ~40us - 1900us mostly yellow. Sigh Anyone have some comparison shots?

Mine (Intel GPU) is cruising along in the green zone with the occasional spike to around 1000us.

    1) Bios Updated to A05 because of stuttering
    2) Latest Nvidia Drivers tried and were worse latency then that
    3) Screenshot is with latest dell video drivers

Also I got this unit with the 128GB Samsung PM800 SSD. Looks like for random I/O Intel leaves it in the dust. It is pretty quick still though. Wondering when or if I am going to notice. Maybe Ill swap it in and give it a go! Planning on retiring the desktop and building up a tiny server box instead for storage etc.

When you updated your drivers, did you uninstall and restart the computer before installing the new ones?

Also, did you try getting the latest drivers for your motherboard chipset.

Purchased a 6410 a few days ago...having a good Thanksgiving getting to know it.

A couple of concerns. The AC adapter get really hot when it's charging. So hot I have to think beforehand whether it will harm the surface it's on. My wife has a PA3 adapter from another laptop she has. I'm interchanging it and it, too, get quite warm but not really as hot. The new one also makes a kind of ticking sound when it's hot. Should we evacuate or is this normal?

Next, the power plug can be wiggled by the jack A LOT. BTW, my wife's unit is an E6400 (I never noticed before that she has it...she has a ThinkPad T500 as her personal computer and seldom has the Dell at home). It, too, wiggles, but maybe not quite as much. Is the wiggle normal? Has the jack been a problem on these units? The jack on my old Dell D-610 needs to be replaced so I'm touchy about this.

    Thx
