when i bought the laptop. there was a deal. if you add complete care. it'll be 169 dollars.

i recommended it to my brother. cause he realized you can never predict an accident. he just bought a m4400. didnt' add complete care. and decided he should go that route. so he called. assuming it would of been 169 like the deal he also got at check out . the service rep. said that was a one time offer . the new price for complete care is 207 and some odd change. which isn't bad about 30 somthing more. I think it'll be worth the purchase.

ps. the "W" key on my laptop is falling off!!! .?? doesn't dell have these refurbe laptops go through like 5 series of testing before they sell em? also my volume button fell of last night!! wow.

I'm going to guess coverage is the same for all models. I purchased my Latitude in June, and got accidental coverage in January. I had requested it as a Christmas gift, as I knew I would want it. I also have on-site service, so I usually have them come out to repair things.

i dont think you can request compleate care at anytime. it's a limited time prior to your dell purchase.

and I love the service for the business model laptops.

It may be for a certain number of months. I had 6+ months go by before I bought it, and it was actually cheaper than the upfront cost. It was only $134.99 at this time. It only runs until the end of my service contract (3 years).

I still have Dell confirmation - ordered the laptop 6/12/2008, ordered complete care 1/03/2009. Could be any time during your current contract..

Definitely is good news, but I wouldn't go buying complete care then trying to get something warrantied right away. I think I'd wait a month or so before doing it.

I've had to take advantage of it at the office a few times, water spills, drops, keys popping off... we continue to renew it until Dell no longer lets us.

yeah. well i bought a refurb laptop. some of the keys are poppin off. but i dont think it's too big of a deal. i think ill just have multiple problems add up before I use my complete care. my key board squeaks too. does anybody elses squeak?

what does dell do to keys that pop off. they send you new ones? cause my volume key popped off. and my w key has been popping off alot lately. pisses me off! especially when you play a game. that uses the w as the up arrow.!
