    Hmmm, I wonder if VS is just a huge program and SearchIndexer needs extra time with it installed before everything is indexed. The thing is, I'm only indexing web page files and Offline Files. My C: drive isn't even selected.


    EDIT: I can verify that VS 2008 is NOT causing the issue. Last night I installed Office Ultimate (Everything fine) and then installed Adobe Web Collection--the problem came back.

    This is the sub process running under SearchIndexer that continues to "loop": SearchHostProtocol.exe

    Any ideas?
