2.4ghz P (P8600?) and nvidia graphics. i will try to unload some modules later tonight and see if i can get it down some more.

thanks for the picture of the ac adapter. i was already happy with the size of the 90w, especially compared to the old 90w! i may have to get this 65w one.

I'm having some issues with my E6400 and was wondering if anyone experienced something similar. I'm also running Vista biz 32bit.

    1. Disk Cleanup does not work. Every time I run it from programs->Accessories->System tools-> Disk cleanup, i get a "Disk space cleanup manager for windows has stopped working". I tried doing a system restore but the issue still remains. The disk cleanup will work if i go into my C drive properties, but I'm still puzzled why it won't work from the system tools folder.

    2. Acronis true image refuses to install. The same "installation has interrupted" message keeps popping up. Did anyone experience a similar issue with this program?

I took the plunge and installed the Nvidia forceware 185.20 yesterday. I've had no problems so far. Even the sleep, hibernation and hybrid sleep modes are working.

what OS? vista/xp 32/64? You may have said before. I think either way it is located in C:\Windows\minidump (definitely is in vista x64). if when your system booted back up it had the "windows recovered from a serious error" dialog, that means it dumped. feel free to post a zip of all of your .dmp files if you've got em and ill analyze them for you.

Is that a current version of True Image. Acronis were very slow last year in sorting out Vista compatibility and I moved my allegiance to Casper.

That's a real bummer.... the software should be the most current version, but if it's a vista thing then that's really disappointing. :(

I figured out the issue. Real simple actually. The solution is to clear all your cookies from your browser and delete everything from your internet temp folder. :D

Simple, but obscure. And baffling why those should block the installation.

A number of programs require an internet connection during the installation process, either for registration, to download additional components or simply to report an installation. To do this, many software use Internet Explorer as an intermediary since every Windows computer has it and the firewall and antivirus trust it. So a problem with cookies or content in the cache seems quite likely.

I remember a disk imaging software that refused to install when it was denied access to the internet. Don't quite remember which one it was but it wasn't Acronis.
